2016 BELTANE TAROT BLOG HOP

The topic for this particular Hop is about the word “May”.
What the Fuck!
What about May?

Oh no she betta don’t!

I am having to think about what the word “May” means to me and it has to tie into Tarot.
Tarot?
Oh I am to write about Tarot and May. I get it now. Hehe.
Anywho.
Well, when I think about Tarot and the word May, I seem to want to travel back into time to my younger years.
You know when Jesus was alive. Ha!
Just kidding.
Yes mija I was once young and cute. I use to get compliments on my dimples. Believe dat!
(I love doing Blog Hops because it is more about fun than really connecting to Source and receiving information about the energy of the week, so this is where you will see a little bit of my sassy side come out.)

May?

Oh yes! I return to my younger years and I think of the game “Mother May I?”
You know. Someone would be the leader and there would be a distance set between the leader and the players, the leader would call out commands to each person, you would have to ask “Mother may I?” before you advance, or you would be out. First person to reach the leader wins.
I know it sounds complicated but, believe me, it is just like “Simon Says”.
I am sure you are asking right now, “How does it tie into Tarot?!”

Be patient.

It will all be revealed.

When you first start to read Tarot, I am sure you peek at the cards for people that you know, in order to practice.
Do you ask them for consent?
I doubt it.
If you do, then good for you. You can probably stop reading this entry then because it will be about us bad kids who went against the grain.
Fuck ya I peeked!
Hell, I looked at a lot of cards regarding the guys that I thought were hot in High School. I needed to know their status.

Okay. So, I use to look at lot at cards for people and in all honesty I thought it was harmless fun. If nothing transpired from it then it was safe. Well, at least I thought it was safe.
When you read for someone without their consent it is kind of like you are standing outside of their bedroom window, peeking in, in hope that you will see something good.
Did I see something good?
Yes. I did.
Was it worth it? Not really. It did not help me in any way because I never use to talk to them after learning the information. I did not get a date with them or see any great information. I also was not able to confirm or deny what I had seen in the cards. (I was a shy bitch back then.)
I really had to ask myself, years later, if this was cool or not. I would not want someone looking into my past, present, or future without my consent.
I would want them to ask “Mother may I?” first.
Of course I would say yes to them.
Any information I receive from Source is good information, even if it is coming from another person.

What is the moral of this story?
Stop being a nosy bitch! o.O
Haha!
Don’t take offense. I was once a nosy bitch as well. If anything you should ask the person if you can look at their cards and get a little practice in (if you are new to Tarot).

Now I know to always ask “Mother may I?”

There have been a few times that even if the person reached out to me for a reading, I could not read for them without consent, due to their spirit guides and higher-self needing to be asked.
Oh lord, the spiritual rules we have to follow sometimes. Blah!

All in all, my readings were a little deeper and information seemed to flow when the person gave consent. It is almost like they are opening the door for you and allowing you to come right in and look through their medicine cabinet. (I was brought up right. I only look in the medicine cabinet when I go to use their bathroom. What they don't know wont hurt them.)
;-)

Oops!
I mean their refrigerator.

Until next time.

Blessed Be,
Aaron

No, I don't peek at cards about people and I don't rummage in their cupboards. I do observe and I do ask if I want to know something about them, though I tend to find that people are more than happy to talk about themselves with very little prompting, so peeking really isn't necessary :D

A few years back, I had a woman ask me to read for her husband... but she wanted me to tell him a list of things that she wanted him to hear... I said no... she said - I'll pay you double... I said... Ok but you cannot come in and also I will tell him that you are screwing your boss...Do you still want to book?
Mmmm.... strangely she changed her mind...
Ok... I went slightly off topic there but I thought it would amuse you :D

Oh my gosh! That was so good! I am sure she pooped a brick when you told her she was cheating.

Oh but it is so much fun peeking into others' cards! I used to do it just like any beginner does, I guess. (I still do it sometimes... Like "is D Trump seriously such a *** or is it only a show for the masses?" Lol. But that doesn't count.)

I would sooooo ask the same question regarding Trump. Yes it is fun to peek sometimes because we needs to know what is happening with that fine man/woman that we are interested in. lol! Like are they crazy or not. ;-)

You can tell you're having fun with this and yeah I think at one time or another we've all looked/peeked at someone or a situation without asking, its human nature to be curious.

I agree. I wanted to know what was going on in their life because I was interested in that person. Now I would not do it because of ethics and stuff. ?

I TOTALLY peeked...and am not sure I can trust those that didn't...or say they didn't. :D I was also a bathroom cabinet snooper. I'm reformed....mostly. :D Excellent post.

By the way? You're still very hot!

Hi Aaron! This was very fun--you are sassy! And I think it's a clever perspective on the topic. I won't do third party readings for clients--I try to help them rephrase it so it's something more about them and how to better approach the relationship with the other person. But I've noticed it's mothers who are the worst, wanting to look at their kids, and there's no talking them out of snooping. So I think it's appropriate that this is "Mother May I"! (And I stay out of bathroom cabinets but totally peek at the cards when a hot guy is concerned!)

Thank you Joy. Yes it usually is the Mother's who want to know about their kids. I usually will read for the child if they are connected to them and my spirit guides advise me to give them a message. If they are small I give a disclaimer about kids and future events. If they want to know about their love life and such I usually say I can not give information about that without talking to them. Oh the joy of spiritually growing up.

Lol, Aaron, what a fun post :) And I especially loved what you said about getting deeper information when you've been invited in! Makes a lot of sense to me, on lots of levels...

Yeah, I don't like being spied on. Your post did make me laugh! Your game sounds similar to what us Brits call, LONDON or What's the Time Mr Wolf... similar set up? Anyway, thanks for making me chuckle. :)

Thank you for taking the time to read the entry. Hmmm. Very interesting to hear the different names of "Mother May I". I think I like What's the time Mr. Wolf. I am glad you found a little humor in the piece. I wanted it to be fun.
