The Energy of the Week: I'm Alive
Photo Finish Phrase: I’m Alive

Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Five of Coins:
When we feel lost, there is a sinking feeling in our stomach that almost feels like we just ate a crayon. That feeling where you are not ready to throw up or take a dump. Confusion on which end it will come out. All we know is that we want it to happen now.
Sometimes this feeling happens to our spirit.

We get lost on our spiritual highway. The Five of Coins is related to money but we must look deeper at the cards. Money is just an energy. It is an item that we all crave on a primal level. It supports us on our journey but it is not a lifeline.

There are moments that we get lost within the shuffle of our life. Bills, doubt, fear, and over indulgence can cause us to lose money. Things change with every moment.
What is the lesson for this card?
When we are lost in the forest and feel as if we are never going to get out, we must look within. We must settle in our personal power and listen.

Source is talking to us. Source is whispering to us in the dark. Source is supplying us with the answers to our issues.
Can you hear Source?
Source is advising us that we are worthy of good.
We are strong.
We are awesome.
We can do it.
Even through all this change and hardship, we are still alive.

The Devil, Eight of Coins, Three of Cups:
I decided to label my entries by the lesson card. We have the Five of Coins above with a lesson about feeling lost. This will rarely change. The lessons in life are all tied in to each other and often return with a loud bark and shallow bite. I will be recycling the lesson part of the readings but still channel the message for the detail cards.

Here is the Devil sitting pretty and light. With the thought of feeling lost in our mind we can get tied down. The rock that we are laced to is only an object. The rope that holds us is only energy. If you learn to break through the chord of energy then movement will soon follow.
What if you still feel fear in movement?
What if your body decides that it needs the chord of energy, tied to the rock, to be worthy?

Sometimes our body wants to stay in the comfortable place of being stagnant. It does not know what to do with itself.
It gets scared.
We get scared.
If you choose to look at the glass as half empty then no one will come along and fill it up.
If you choose to look at the glass as half full, then surely Source will pour more of that sun-filled lemon aid in your glass. That wonderful stuff that keeps us happy and beautiful.

If the storm begins to cause havoc in your life, then rejoice in the fact that we are not in a drought anymore. That there will be an abundance of power and energy all around us. Do not be tempted in returning to the old you.
When I look at these cards I think of the song by E.L.O in the move Xanadu, called “I’m Alive”
It is about being alive again for the first time, as if it was something we knew was there all along, and at times that we are clear and full of love, we feel out of place.

When you begin to have this feeling of “out of place” remember that it is just the simple fact that your spirit is already at its destination and your body is slowly catching up.
Step into the light once more and feel alive again.
Step into the light and feel renewed.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Ignoring Sound Advice
Photo Finish Phrase: Ignoring Sound Advice

Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Queen of Swords:
I associate this card with the sign of Aquarius. I was taught that this card is known as the Idealist.
I can never get this card situated because there are not very many Aquarius people around me.
This person is very well with words. They communicate, in a loving way, what is expected and what is needed in an environment.
Watch out though.
The shadow side of this card can be mean and cruel. What we see as sharped tongue is just the Queen of Swords expressing her frustration and concern.

I would associate the song “You can’t always get what you want” by the Rolling Stones with this card.
The Queen of Swords will advise you on what route to take but will state what danger is involved.
Do not cross this card with an intent to ignore her sound advice. She does not respond well to her time being wasted.
Be ready to hear what she must say and pay attention. You may not hear what you want to hear but it will be words that are needed to get past the obstacle on your spiritual path.

The Wheel of Fortune, Two of Swords, Two of Cups:
The cards spell out the word “balance”.
Everything goes up and everything eventually goes down. Sometimes we get stuck on feeling that the season of summer will never end.
The Queen of swords will tell you that it does.
Do not worry. The greatest lesson you can learn in this life is to get through the harsh times of winter, to develop your greatest skills during the changing leaves in fall, and give all your power to your goal in spring.
It can’t always be summer but if you have the spiritual balance in your life it can seem like it, even when winter is throwing shade at your spiritual path.

Sometimes there are phases in our life that always take place. There is always a heatwave, a drought, and a monsoon, but with every shadow side (and I use shadow because nothing is ever truly negative and dark. It still contains some light within it and that light is truth) there is always April showers, cool summer days, and an aurora borealis.

Balance is always in order within this world. We may think it is not for all we can sometimes see is the shadow side of things.
Your homework for life is to change your thought process.
Look beyond the dark side of the impending doom feeling within the pit of your stomach. Understand that with every “negative” item in this world that takes place, a positive must be born.

We may view it as chaos within the world with all the in balance of weather and unkind humans, but what we view as chaos, the spiritual world views it as a perfect cycle. A circle of birth and death. Bad things will happen.

It is written in every text that shit just takes place without rhyme or reason but what we tend to forget is we are reborn.
With death, there is a birth.
We prove this in spiritual theory by remembering who we have been in past lives.
We would have no recollection of what we have done (when we become spiritually conscious) in our past lives.
We understand that we are born again to take on the karmic lessons of our past actions.
To evolve. T
o remember just how spectacular, we are.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: We Must Mend

Photo Finish Phrase: We Must Mend

Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Queen of Cups:
I associate the Queen of Cups with the astrological sign of the Scorpio.
What qualities do we need to take on this week?
What qualities do we need to enhance?
We are to comfort others on their journey and be the advisor of good and greatness. Be empathetic towards others for if we try to understand them then they will try to understand us as well.
Try not to take control of the situation. Try to offer sound advice. Do not judge.

The Scorpio has been known to judge. A shadow side Scorpio likes to bring people down with them as they begin to spiral downward. The shadow side Scorpio is in it to win it. They want to be recognized. It is their bus that they are driving and everyone else is just a passenger.

The light side of the Scorpio is very helpful. They want to understand the people they love. They give sound advice and can see things in a different light. They want to help. They offer their services with no attachments to those they care for.
The light side of the Scorpio can create such great things in their life with ease. They have so much luck on their side but their constant battle is with their Ego.

Why am I giving you both sides of the Scorpio?
We must learn to recognize where we stand in the spectrum of this archetype. If we do this, then we can begin to change and rearrange the environment we have created.

The Devil, Judgement, Eight of Coins:
The Devil creeps around in the dark and changes the environment we reside in.
As we look toward learning a new craft that will enhance the greatness we contain within us, we forget to take care of our current state.
We are tempted with thoughts of regret and unhappiness.

Sometimes birthing a new project into existence will be painful. Everything comes easy in this life but when we try to go against the flow of energy is when it seems hard.
We want to wallow in the mud of life and complain about how difficult it is. How the trials and tribulations that we must go through are a burden.

Remember that grief is still lingering in the back ground.
Try not to let it take hold of our spirit.
Try not to return to the past and wonder what could have been.
The Devil is the past waving a flag stating, “this can still happen”.
Sometimes we are to leave the past in the small pool that it resides in. Sometimes we have to move forward and look to the past with forgiveness.
Old memories and old thoughts will surface when The Devil card is present.
The temptation to return to old hurt.

Be on guard this week. You are more than what you think you are worth. The past will only bind you to the ground with taffy rope.
Sticky and sweet.
Simple and movable.
Break free from the thoughts of yesterday. Look to the future. People will enter into our life, give their opinion, and either stay to keep the poison going or leave without notice.
This leaves us scared and broken.
We must mend.
We must begin again.
We must be rebirthed into the light of greatness. Without the struggle, we will not know just how wonderful we are. We will not know the strength we contain within us.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Be Open and Transparent

The Energy of the Week: Be open and Transparent
Photo Finish Phrase: Be Open and Transparent

Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Eight of Coins:
The Three of Coins and The Eight of Coins are just examples of where we stand in a situation. The Three of Coins is an example of our desire for the recognition from others, we place our little self in a position of “wanting to be loved”. The desire to be noticed is greater than our own acknowledgment of our beautiful self.
We want to be seen and heard.
The Eight of Coins is the opposite. We desire to notice others in our peripheral vision. In the hindsight of who we were and where we have been. We know just how great we are with the tools and articles that surround us.

It is time to master a new craft. It is time to master a new set of skills that can be added to what we know now. Blend it all together. Jump into a new thought of desire. We are worthy of this change. We are worthy of this new power.

Sometimes we get stuck in the middle of what we know and what is unknown.  We get stuck in the unforeseen examples of life that sticks to us like honey. The pain and hurt of certain people, the pain and hurt of a certain situation, the undetermined scream of our simple voice can get lost in the crowd.
We can get lost within the crowd of people.

Sometimes we have look for the highest point, muster up a feeling of determination, and climb the fuck out of the shit hole we have created. This is where the Eight of Coins will take us. We rise above all the criticism and chastising that others may lay upon us. We rise above it all to find new tools to manifest even more good into our life.

Four of Wands, Five of Swords, The Hermit:
The home we build is simply a shelter to keep us warm in winter and cool in summer.
I think the spirits are advising us to open a door in our spiritual temple. Open a window in your spiritual house. Let the sunlight in.
I know I am guilty of closing the blinds, so that nosy neighbors will not peek into my house, but in all honestly, I am the first to be “Country” and look through a window of a fellow neighbor, if the blinds are open.
The spirits want us to be open and transparent.
We have nothing to hide.

The truth is our friend and will really let others see just how vulnerable we can be. Sometimes being a bitch is just a mask others put on so that the caring person will not be taken advantage of.
Pain and sorrow are a trend this week.
Even I still struggle with grief and heart ache. It sits in the back of the room holding a sign up that states “You will never succeed without me”.
Even now I cry.
Even now it hurts.

Speaking this into existence is all part of the healing process.
We all stumble and fall. We all skin our knees on the ground. Spiritual bones get broken.
When we were kids, we use to fall and seek the comfort of our parents. We wanted them to tell us that everything is okay and we will be healed.
Maybe we do this with Source?
Maybe we do this with our higher self?
Maybe we crash and burn to be noticed.
To be handled with care.

The spiritual path you have chosen can seem lonely and when there is no one around to pick us up or kiss our wounds, we want to give up.

My advice, to all of us, is to keep on moving. Source does pick us up and kiss our wounds. Source does this by guiding us to the right place at the right time. Source does this with moments of deja-vu and hearts-skipping-a-beat feeling.
Now I know what the cards are stating.
They want us to find our place. Find that moment in our life when we stood in a certain spot in life and thought to our self “I am home”.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron
