The Energy of the Week: Start to Stink
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Page of Wands:
We will receive information of a great opportunity. It will be stated to us from another person. As if it was meant to fall right into our lap.
I can see sand and dirt all around us but with great power we can manifest an oasis. We contain the information and power to create sacred space.
The Page of Wands is fire power in the raw. Untapped and unwielded. It is there to manifest for good or bad. It is simply power within our hands. It can be manipulated to take on any form. Sort of like someone using flint and stone to create fire. It starts small and it is up to the person, who cast it, to either keep the fire raging or die down to an ember.
This is the spark of life that is needed sometimes to keep us going in the right direction.
The information will be by word of mouth. It will be through the sparks and cracks the fire makes.
We simply have to listen.

The Devil, Death, Two of Wands:
Transformation.
The ability to change.
Opportunity.
What are we really looking for?
What are we waiting for?

Sometimes we want to hear, what we want to hear, and when Source gives us exactly what we need, we decline due to the package it arrived in.
As if the box is too big or too small.
I want to advise that this week is not about the past. We have moved on. Now we are talking about the future.
We are talking about the present. Now. Here.
This entry will be short because the cards are simple this week. Not complicated.
It is either we get over our shit and change or get stuck.

Being stuck can cause us to stink. We are stagnant with the flow of energy. Holding onto dear life to our things and stuff.
Stuff.
Shit that we think create us.
They only hold us down. They cause us to sink to the bottom of the river of life.
This week will be about the recognization of the things that hold us back. The things that cause us to sink.
There is no time for heartache. There is no time for grief.
We have things to do.
To create.
To expand.
To grow.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Being Humble
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Five of Coins:
When we feel lost, there is a sinking feeling in our stomach that almost feels like we just ate a crayon. That feeling where you are not ready to throw up or take a dump. Confusion on which end it will come out. All we know is that we want it to happen now.
Sometimes this feeling happens to our spirit.

We get lost on our spiritual highway. The Five of Coins is related to money but we must look deeper at the cards. Money is just an energy. It is an item that we all crave on a primal level. It supports us on our journey but it is not a lifeline.
There are moments that we get lost within the shuffle of our life. Bills, doubt, fear, and over indulgence can cause us to lose money. Things change with every moment.
What is the lesson for this card?

When we are lost in the forest and feel as if we are never going to get out, we must look within. We must settle in our personal power and listen.
Source is talking to us. Source is whispering to us in the dark. Source is supplying us with the answers to our issues.
Can you hear Source?

Source is advising us that we are worthy of good.
We are strong.
We are awesome.
We can do it.
\Even through all this change and hardship, we are still alive.

The Wheel of Fortune, Two of Swords, The Tower:
Seasons change. They move in a circular motion but as Kelly Cutrone states in her book, “Sometimes you get two winters and one long summer and then a winter again.”

This week will be about an agreement, the destruction that comes with it, and how we will feel that this has happened once before.
Maybe in a dream.

Remember that within the agreement, there is no one who has all the power. Each person contains a small part of the promise.
One promises to be loyal and the other promises to be honest.
I feel like we will have to repeat a particular lesson.
The lesson called “being humble”.

Once the agreement has been made, we must follow through with our promise. This may lead us to do things that we do not desire. Maybe we will have to bite the bullet and keep moving forward.

I understand now. This week is about being found, not about being lost. The three cards are advising the Five of Coins that it is time for us to be found.
We have chosen a path, and by choosing, we have returned home. Remember last week I spoke of picking a path and that all roads lead to home.
Remember that home is a place that we create. We carry it within our pocket as we walk forward.
We set it out when we rest to help us remember just how strong we are.

This has been the third time that I have picked up my belongings, like the fool, and moved to another state.
I have left my family and friends back in Ventura, once again, and this time contains the same emotion and feelings as the first.
One can feel lost in a new place, even though it all seems familiar.
Even though it is all working out perfectly.
We feel lost because everything we have known is far away. All the pain and hurt is in the past.
It is time to allow those who are to be our new companions on our journey to be recognized.

In being found we may struggle.
We may squirm and be closed off at first but remember this is about “being humble”.
That means opening up and allowing Source to lead us to the exact destination we need to arrive at. We may not know what that destination looks like but remember that we are the ones that are lost, not Source.
In the words of Switchfoot, “I dare you to move. I dare you to move. I dare you to pick yourself up off the floor.”

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: This Blinds Us
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Seven of Cups :
There are moments in your life where so many decisions are placed on the table. Like salt being spilt, the grains bounce and roll. Focus. Which grain of salt will you focus on? So many to choose from. So many decisions.

This card is requiring us to focus on one dream at a time. To pick and choose the one that will provide us with great happiness. We can get lost within the creation of a list of goals. We can get lost in the crossing out of items on that list. It may be too long or too short. Some items may be non-important and others may be vital to get you from point A to point B. The real lesson is to pick just one. Start at the top. Start at the bottom. Play a game of “catch a tiger by the toe” and see what transpires.

All in all, you must start at some point in time with just one item. When that is done, mark it off, and move on to the next. I want to advise you that the list never stops growing. The list never really goes away. Remember to relax and enjoy the journey. Enjoy writing the line across each goal and relish in the fact that you completed one more item on your list of life.

Nine of Coins, Five of Coins, The Hierophant:
Even when things are working out perfectly, it can feel like we are lost within the forest of life.
This week is about the joy of the journey, denial of truth, and returning to center.

We forget our true self within the shuffle of people and places. We forget that we are connected to Source.
We forget that answers are all around.
We wish the answer to be a certain shape and size. This blinds us.
We must focus on what we know.
We must focus on the fact that we are born to receive love, joy, and good within our life.

The spirits keep putting the song “Amazing Grace” in my head as I write this entry.
It is time to let go and allow things to take place.
I want to focus on the Five of Coins.
This card is about loss and misfortune but we must examine the picture on the card closely. There is so much more going on in the background.

The lights are always on in the church. The church is a symbol of sanctuary and peace. It is an answer. The church is tradition. The church is what we strive for in life, to be safe.

The people outside are poor. They are hurt. They have nothing to keep them safe and warm. They turn away from the church because of past pain. To them the church is a symbol of criticism. It is something that has caused them to live a life of pain and hurt, because they feel shame with who they are.
What they do not feel is that the church is holy and full of love. It is the men who live within it that make it a room of shame and hate.
We must look past our current issues. The ones that keep us in the cold because we think that shame is the only emotion we deserve.

We can find the truth through different avenues. We must allow Source to take over and lead us to where we truly belong within our spiritual path. Even if it means taking us to church. No one said we have to drink the Kool-aid and eat the cookies. We contain the power and if we wanted to sit in a church to feel the energy, then we are allowed to do just that. Do not deny things within your life because of a past hurt. If you do this, then you are stopping the flow of energy.

I know, I know.
Sometimes we must visit the past, in order to understand. Sometimes we have to return to a place that once denied us, only to be welcomed with open arms.
Sometimes we have to accept what is being given, in order to move on.
In order to understand that we are truly never lost, just misguided.
All roads lead to home.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Peace Love Joy
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Nine of Wands:
When the Nine of Wands shows up in a reading, we can predict that the fight is not over. Do not look at this in a negative way. It simply means that you have to regroup and collect your resources, so that when the battle begins again, you will give it your all.
Maybe this card is associated with standing guard.
Sticking to your guns.
Giving the past one last glance and moving forward.

If there was a person in front of me, asking a question, I would state to them that they have to keep focusing on what they really want within their life.
They have to keep working towards their goal.
Preparation is key.

“Sing a new song Chiquitita”

This card is associated with looking at what is lost and understanding that we have no time for grief or doubt.
We have to keep looking towards what is to come, rather than what has happened.
Even though it may seem like we are losing, we gather all the energy within us and push towards resolution.
What is the life lesson associated with this card?

Looking back will get you nowhere.
It will only cause us to be stuck.
Stuck within the quicksand of our past, that pulls us down beneath the sand and water.
I look at this card as a “catch all” card. It kind of means the same when it is placed in a certain aspect of life.
This card is telling us that there is still one more act in the show until the curtain closes.
We will get our second wind and push through all the crap in our life.
This is the last mile in a long race. This card is daring us to move forward even when we feel like we have no energy to do so.
This card will challenge us to do something different or keep moving forward even when we feel like we don’t want to.

The Star, Ten of Cups, Nine of Swords:
This week will contain worry, doubt, and fear.
We will doubt our own power, fear the outcome of what we desire, and worry about the consequences of our choices.
Do not let it get you down. It is just the planets moving in a circular motion.
Have you ever noticed that they have been doing this since the big bang?
The creation of life.
Yet people seem to focus on things that have happened before, as if they are new. As if this has never happened before.
I hate to tell you this, but it has.
So, why do we focus on the negative aspect of certain planetary formations?

The same goes for Tarot.
Why do we look at certain cards with disdain or disgust?
We focus on the shadow side of cards and try to associate them with our mishaps.

I am going to be very honest.
Shit happens.
And it can sometimes happen several times in a row.
Now that we have that statement out of the way, the real lesson we must learn is how to turn things around when that shit does take place.
Do we focus on the aspect of shit and what it has brought us?
Do we give up?

It is okay to look at the shadow side of the cards but they are here to push us in a positive direction. By examining the emptiness that sits within us, we can come to the conclusion that there is just more of us to fill. Being empty is a good thing. It allows us to recharge and regenerate without the attachments of our past.

Stay focused on our goal this week and things will work out in our favor. Sometimes the shit is needed to distract us. Sometimes the shit is needed to fertilize the dream we have planted.
Sometimes the shit is needed to remind us that we are no better than the person next to us. We are all equal within the essence of the Universe.

Remembering who we are within the eyes of Source can be scary. It can feel like sand paper, rough and gritty.
We fear that the people and places we love will leave us, because we have decided to move on, and honestly it will happen. People will not want to move forward with us. They will want to stay stuck within the shame and fear of the past.
But we know what is on the other side of this journey.
Peace. Love. Joy.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Clarity
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Two of Swords:
When this card shows up in a reading we have to apply the word 'agreement'.
This card talks about allowing things to take place in order to keep the peace between two parties.
Let us shake hands now. This forms the bond.
Think of it as a parchment paper. The rules are set. The game is in motion. Now you have to play by them or not.
What happens when the agreement is broken?
When one party decides to break the promise that was made.
Are there consequences?
Do we forgive or ask for forgiveness?
What if we are the person who breaks the rules or cheats at the game of love?

We have to know that there will be consequences for our actions. That things will have to play out in accordance to the rules. We will not pass go. We will not collect $200.
What is left over after the agreement is made?
Let us look deeper into the card. Past the two people shaking hands. Past the agreement.
What do we find?

We find that there needs to be balance within the relationship. There needs to be structure. The rules are set in place to keep us on the right track. To aid us in evolution. We must grow to move to the next card. Sometimes the agreement can turn sour leading us to the Three of Swords – Heartache. I think an agreement must be made in order to move forward through the cards. We have to first set a boundary up.

Wait!
That is it.
The key word for this card is agreement but I think an agreement is like a boundary. A healthy boundary.
You set it up so that the other person/s understand that you will not deal with their shenanigans anymore.
In turn, they will not deal with ours as well.

Four of Swords, Justice, Nine of Cups:
This week will be about rest and relaxation. To return to center before heading out into an uncharted area.
Things will come full circle.
Things will be made whole again.
This is what we have been wishing for, to be made whole again.

Sometimes the Universe carries us to the ends of the Earth, to show us that we are worthy of only good.
Sometimes we forget our worthiness within the shadows of our spirit.

It is funny. I think all of my posts have the same message of “worthiness”.
I think that is all I am really trying to say.
That we are worthy of only good.
It is hard to remember this at times.

This week is about clarity. Stopping to smell the roses, so that we can remember.
Remember just how wonderful we are.
All things will fall into place. The Universe is on our side. We simply have to open our hearts to the possibility of love.
Not the kind of love that we receive from a lover, but the kind that sits within the very make-up of this Earth.

Can you hear our ancestors speaking to us within the wind and rain?
Can you hear what they are saying?

“Be strong”

This week, as we walk within the light of the sun, remember to stop and listen to spirit. They speak to us within the flapping of a butterfly’s wing, a bird’s song, and the whispering of the leaves as they blow in the wind.

Be strong.
Be brave.
Break through your cocoon.
Things will go your way.
I can feel it.
Do not worry.
Do not be afraid.

Know that everything is working out in your favor at this very moment. We may not see it happening but something wonderful is taking place, behind the curtain of life.
Simmering and brewing in the background. A good batch of luck.
Walk forward with your head held high. Brush off the dust from the fall you took earlier and move the fuck on.
For the power lies within your hand.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron
