Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.
Six of Wands:
The key word for this card is ‘Victory’.
It means that we will overcome any obstacles that we are faced with. They may be large and overbearing but we have come out as a champion.
This does not mean we are unscathed.
This card is about returning home in one piece.
We arrive at our rest stop with a chance to heal and be whole again.
Understand that we have just come out of battle. We have just taken our power back. Sometimes we are left bruised and bleeding on the side of the road at 2 am in the morning. We hold strong and fight for our life.
With the aid of others, we return to our loved ones. We come home with the knowledge of battle.
Understand that we must return with an open heart. Do not return with a mind set of battle. Do not bring the battle to your place of comfort.
Leave it on the battlefield where you left the obstacle. If we bring it into our house, then be warned, it will start to take on a life of its own. It will start to take over our spirit and create the same battlefield that we just left.
Rejoice in the thought that you have conquered a person, place, or thing but leave it where it lays.
Celebrate with an open heart and open mind.
Allow more good things to enter into your life. When you do this you leave no space for negativity.
Strength, The Star, Knight of Cups:
We enter this week with the sound of victory trumpets playing in the back ground.
We are strong.
We are determined to figure all of this goodness out.
A pleasant surprise containing love will be given to us.
We will receive with great bounty, and we will also give with great intent.
I feel that it will be about energy.
Our time.
The gift of love and peace.
As a spiritual being, we travel light, carrying things in our backpack that contain truth.
Sometimes it will be a hammer that we carry, not really doing anything useful, but sitting there taking up space.
At some point in our journey, it will be used, for we can feel Spirit telling us to hold on to it.
Other items are used up quickly, like the magic star in Super Mario Brothers, it lasts for fifteen seconds and then disappears.
It may be difficult to part with the items we carry, for we have become attached to the weight and balance.
Maybe we will feel lost with out them in our backpack, holding us down.
Victory can come with a loss.
A sacrifice.
It is time to let go of the old tethered things within our heart.
It is time to allow new and bright things to be integrated in to our soul.
We are successful with our goals, putting one foot in front of the other, and stepping into the bright day with a smile in our heart.
A piece of advice before I go:
Embrace what comes your way, whether it is a battered rusty nail or a new found penny, hold it dear with each step. Understand that we are the vessel it clings to on this journey, but we are not the owner.
Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron
