Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.
Seven of Wands:
The key word I have chosen for this card is “Defense”.
Stand our ground. Hold onto what we have around us. Understand that we walk this path for our own self worth.
Do not let others dictate who we are.
Do not be ashamed.
When this card shows up in a reading, we must attach certain characteristics to it.
The person must be willing to stay strong in the face of danger.
The person must be willing to state their truth.
This card does not mean that you have to be stubborn. It is more about living our life within alignment of our Divine plan.
We must be connected to Source. We must stand within our truth. We must create healthy boundaries.
The big lesson with this card is understanding that we have to move forward with the things that will benefit us in the long run. Others may frown upon our decision due to not understanding where we are coming from. This card also deals with the feeling of our backs against the wall. Maybe we need to have this done so that we will make a decision and follow through.
This is not about winning or losing. This is about making a strategic move towards our greater good.
Eight of Cups, The Hierophant, Nine of Cups:
Getting what we want by examining traditional methods.
We keep looking for something better. Something greater.
We desire others to love us as much as we love them.
This will never happen.
We must love our self. We must know that we are worthy.
The past is just a situation that has happened.
What picture am I trying to paint?
We desire change.
That change will take place.
We desire love.
That love will start to manifest and create.
Look within.
Find that awesome person who sits in the center of your spirit. Bring them out into the light. Shine.
This week is about letting go of the past. Burning incense and a candle to send it back to where it came from. It is behind you.
Let the spirit start to heal.
Sometimes we follow a path for a moment.
A second.
A minute.
A year.
Sometimes we follow it to our death and transformation. Sometimes we walk it so long that we do not notice it is taking us in a complete circle.
We pass by the same tree. We pass by the same sign post. The one that states “Exit to the left”.
We pause to reflect and keep on moving.
Sometimes the path is a person. We see them time after time. They enter at certain times and leave as quickly as they arrive. We start to walk in that circle again.
It seems familiar but for some crazy reason we think it will be different.
That they will be different. They lead us into the same smelly old pond full of stagnant water.
We sit.
We observe.
This week is about stepping out of that pond and back into your ocean. The rushing tide that pulls life into its belly and exhales love.
Sometimes we forget just how powerful we truly are. Each year goes by and as I write these entries, there are moments where we have to be reminded that we are as strong as the tallest red wood trees. We are as powerful as the pull of the moon on the ocean tide.
But we have to remember.
We have to remember that awesome person in the corner of our soul. Sitting. Waiting to be recognized.
Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron
