The Energy of the Week: Smelly Old Pond
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Seven of Wands:
The key word I have chosen for this card is “Defense”.
Stand our ground. Hold onto what we have around us. Understand that we walk this path for our own self worth.
Do not let others dictate who we are.
Do not be ashamed.

When this card shows up in a reading, we must attach certain characteristics to it.
The person must be willing to stay strong in the face of danger.
The person must be willing to state their truth.
This card does not mean that you have to be stubborn. It is more about living our life within alignment of our Divine plan.
We must be connected to Source. We must stand within our truth. We must create healthy boundaries.

The big lesson with this card is understanding that we have to move forward with the things that will benefit us in the long run. Others may frown upon our decision due to not understanding where we are coming from. This card also deals with the feeling of our backs against the wall. Maybe we need to have this done so that we will make a decision and follow through.
This is not about winning or losing. This is about making a strategic move towards our greater good.

Eight of Cups, The Hierophant, Nine of Cups:
Getting what we want by examining traditional methods.
We keep looking for something better. Something greater.
We desire others to love us as much as we love them.
This will never happen.
We must love our self. We must know that we are worthy.
The past is just a situation that has happened.

What picture am I trying to paint?

We desire change.
That change will take place.
We desire love.
That love will start to manifest and create.

Look within.
Find that awesome person who sits in the center of your spirit. Bring them out into the light. Shine.
This week is about letting go of the past. Burning incense and a candle to send it back to where it came from. It is behind you.
Let the spirit start to heal.
Sometimes we follow a path for a moment.
A second.
A minute.
A year.

Sometimes we follow it to our death and transformation. Sometimes we walk it so long that we do not notice it is taking us in a complete circle.
We pass by the same tree. We pass by the same sign post. The one that states “Exit to the left”.
We pause to reflect and keep on moving.

Sometimes the path is a person. We see them time after time. They enter at certain times and leave as quickly as they arrive. We start to walk in that circle again.
It seems familiar but for some crazy reason we think it will be different.
That they will be different. They lead us into the same smelly old pond full of stagnant water.
We sit.
We observe.

This week is about stepping out of that pond and back into your ocean. The rushing tide that pulls life into its belly and exhales love.

Sometimes we forget just how powerful we truly are. Each year goes by and as I write these entries, there are moments where we have to be reminded that we are as strong as the tallest red wood trees. We are as powerful as the pull of the moon on the ocean tide.
But we have to remember.
We have to remember that awesome person in the corner of our soul. Sitting. Waiting to be recognized.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Defend Again
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Nine of Wands:
When the Nine of Wands shows up in a reading, we can predict that the fight is not over. Do not look at this in a negative way. It simply means that you have to regroup and collect your resources, so that when the battle begins again, you will give it your all.
Maybe this card is associated with standing guard.
Sticking to your guns.
Giving the past one last glance and moving forward.

If there was a person in front of me, asking a question, I would state to them that they have to keep focusing on what they really want within their life.
They have to keep working towards their goal.
Preparation is key.

“Sing a new song Chiquitita”

This card is associated with looking at what is lost and understanding that we have no time for grief or doubt.
We have to keep looking towards what is to come, rather than what has happened.
Even though it may seem like we are losing, we gather all the energy within us and push towards resolution.
What is the life lesson associated with this card?

Looking back will get you nowhere.
It will only cause us to be stuck.
Stuck within the quicksand of our past, that pulls us down beneath the sand and water.
I look at this card as a “catch all” card. It kind of means the same when it is placed in a certain aspect of life.
This card is telling us that there is still one more act in the show until the curtain closes.
We will get our second wind and push through all the crap in our life.
This is the last mile in a long race. This card is daring us to move forward even when we feel like we have no energy to do so.
This card will challenge us to do something different or keep moving forward even when we feel like we don’t want to.

Ten of Wands, Queen of Swords, Queen of Wands:
Well, look at that. The Nine of Wands card is showing up again.
I have noticed that the Ten of Wands is also showing up in a lot of my personal readings.
We will feel like we have the world on our shoulders. This can even mean that spiritually we will feel heavy this week.
Hold on till the end.
Almost like a counseling session.
The two queens are instructing us. Pushing us towards our greater self.
To be more.
To be worthy.

With the “Idealist” and the “Chosen One”, teaching us about break through and magic, we will get to our destination.

We must shine and show others that nothing stands in our way. Even if things seem dark and gloomy we shine the light of direction, aiding others through the tunnel, and pushing through the spiritual depression.
One queen advises us to speak our truth. The other queen advises us to connect to the power around us. Magic is all around us and we must enjoy that power.
Use it to create.
We are still in a defense mode. We stand in the center of the storm. We wait for the next move.
Our opponent is our Ego.
We stand in our way.
We create the obstacles set before us.
The Queens are advising us to have a loving heart when approaching difficult situations and dealing with difficult people.

The choice is up to us. We can choose to move forward with everything in our hands or stop and never reach our destination of love and grace.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

Queen of Coins, Four of Swords, Eight of Cups:
We see the energy of the Queen of Coins present in our environment. It lingers. She is advising us to be strong. To push forward. To hold onto what is ours.
She wants us to stand still in the presence of power. She wants us to know that even if we doubt our current state of courage, we should not back down.
There is no time for lingering doubt.
It is time to take up our things and push the obstacles out of the way.
It is time to get up. To open our eyes from the sleep we have been under.
The time of dreams is over.
The field has changed.
We fight with fist and steal.

Our ambition is never ending. We rest to gain experience. We stay to find foundation. To understand that we can be small and little.
To know that we contain the power to change.
The power to leave behind the things that serve no purpose anymore.
This may mean leaving a relationship that only causes you pain.
This may mean leaving a job that only causes you to worry.

Do not be afraid. Our mothers stand before us. Our fathers stand behind us. Our ancestors surround us with holding hands. Clasped together to create the circle.
Now set forth into the great unknown. The Eight of Cups is the compass and marker.
This is what the cards are stating.
Move with faith in your heart. Follow the beats to the next sign post of love and hope.
We all can see them.
The signs that state:
“You are worth more than what you think”

Until next time.
Blessed Be,

The Energy of the Week: This is What the Cards are Saying
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Ten of Wands:
After all is said and done, we find our strength is being tested. We carry all of our shit on our back and wonder why it is so heavy. I am going to relate the wands to stress, worry, and doubt. Even though we set out on our journey with good intentions, along the way we pick up sticks with words and phrases on them.
Words that we have scratched on them.
Words like shame, bad, not enough.
They may seem small at first, but with every step we take, more and more are added to the load we are carrying. Eventually we drop the good stuff and replace it with things that have no real meaning in our life.

The Ten of Wands is not a bad card.
Heck, none of the Tarot cards are bad. They simply have a dark and light side.
Just like us.
Remember to let go of things that only weigh you down. If they are items that will benefit you at the end goal, then keep it and move on. Remember that you are the one in charge of how much you can carry in one trip.

Let us look past the scene in the card. The man is making a trip to town to sell what he has created. We sometimes think that this may be the last trip we must make in order to live happy. The Ten of Wands does not end. It starts fresh again with the Ace of Wands. Everything cycles.
Remember that the sun always rises and in turn you too will rise. Do not carry too much in one day. It will leave you tired. You can always make another trip tomorrow.

What is the lesson?

Stop picking up unwanted shit along the way. Stick to what you know. Keep your eyes set on one goal and work towards creating tools to make it happen. Do not stress over stuff you can not control at the present moment.
We all should be like the man in the card and simply focus on completing his journey for the day.

Four of Coins, Six of Coins, Wheel of Fortune:
I think it is about the generosity.
The act of giving. This week will contain the elements of holding on to fear, letting go of the past, and allowing the tables to turn.

This is what the cards want us to know. That things will be flipped. What was once “a lack of” will now be “an abundance of”.
Things must be harmonious. Things must balance out. Kind of like our taxes. We have to file them. Regardless of if we have to pay or if we get money back, things must be accounted for.
If we have been working hard and living within the light, then things will pay off.   If we have been skating by and living in the shadow, then things will start to turn sour.
What we wish for will not be obtained unless we start to work with the energy around us, for the better.
Taking what we are  afraid of, and making it part of our soul. We only fear that particular thing because it is unknown. It is something that we may not desire to be part of our environment. I would like to express that it is in our soul because we fear it. The moment you take it in, breathe, and express that it has no power, then it will leave. It will contain no meaning. It will be expelled from our environment.

I feel like I must go deeper within the cards. To look past the general meaning. To attach my spirit to the very essence of what they embody.

Here is what I have received:

We want to advise the reader of the destruction and rate race, that we seem to create. We hold onto things and people, as if they contain our very life force. We swim within the outskirts of life, waiting for the right moment to create happiness.
We give you these words to move forward.
Do not allow others to take your energy. Do not allow others to put limitations on your greatness. Be humble. Give to those who ask with a sincere heart. Understand. Know that with every cycle there is an up and there is a down. The motion moves forward with or without your consent.
Allow the very essence of this life and of source to be expressed within you this week. Be compassionate to those that annoy you. Be strong for those that can not see the light. Lead them by example to the very good that they deserve, for we all deserve good. Even the nasty people who think that they own the title of “Empress”. They do not. They only hold the crown for “Best in Ego”.

This is what the cards are stating to me.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron
