The Energy of the Week: Life
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Temperance:
This card speaks to us about healing. With a thought of healing we find that balance has to be included in the equation.
Balance between physical and spiritual. If your spiritual practice is off then you start to form negative traits in the physical realm. If your physical environment is off then you start to create unwanted/blocked energy within your spiritual realm.

A place for healing. After the storm, there must be a time of repair. After the destruction, there must be a time of regrowth.
Sometimes we are so use to the hardship and the pain, that the healing is unwanted.
It hurts more than the pain we are feeling.
It is like learning to walk again after a painful leg surgery.
Like everything else, we must get stronger. Muscles will ache and hurt during the process but it is due to the regrowth.

Some choose to stay in the pain of injury. In the pain from the heartache. They do this because they know that if they let go of or move towards healing, then there is nothing to blame their hardship on.
There is nothing to blame their failure on.
Healing requires balance.
The acknowledgment of the pain and the acknowledgement of the healing both taking place at the same time.
To aid us to feel good.

Temperance enters into our life after the storm has cleared.
It enters after the destruction has taken place.
Temperance requires us to seek out therapy.
It pushes us towards that therapy. Whether it is laughter, art, sex, or a hobby. It pushes us towards a thought of worthiness.
Worthiness to be whole.
Worthiness to be perfect.

Six of Swords, The Tower, Four of Swords:
Here we go again. Here is destruction. It takes over the reading because of the constant breakdown.
The two other cards are telling us to take small breaks on our spiritual journey. We can not travel at a constant speed of love without stopping and checking in with our spirit.
Is it ahead of us?
Is it behind?
When things fall apart, there are moments we have to sit within the rubble and cry.
Cry for what was lost.
Cry for the constant change that The Tower can bring.
Let us not lose sight of the lesson.

With every step we take, within the card of destruction, there must be a positive breakdown of things.
Things that are old.
Things that do not contain value.
We have decided to take this journey. We have decided to live.
That’s all it comes down to.
Life.
We signed a spiritual contract to return and experience. With that experience comes the break down of things.
Death.
With that experience comes the growth of things.
Life.

Let us look at the middle. The resting state.
Where things seem like nothing is happening.
Where the bud sits in the soil. Waiting.
We may not see things happening, but life is taking place.
What do I want to tell you this week?
A lot, but that would require me to write a book.
So, I will keep it simple.

When things are broken, wounded, and fucked up, you have to keep moving.
One step at a time. It may be slow at first but you will eventually reach your destination.
Even when you decide to give up and sleep for a whole week, the body is repairing, preparing for the greatness you will manifest when you wake up.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: No Sidesteps
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

The Moon:
Some writers look at this card as evolution.
Some writers see this card as psychic power.
Some may see this card is about decisions.
I would like to view it as just that: a decision.
A path.
One is light. One is dark.
One looks scary. One looks pleasant.

Both are equal in experience. Both will lead you to your next destination. One is not easier than the other.
Both contain the same amount of challenge.
Since you can get large amounts o information from books about what this card represents, let us look beyond the card.
What is the lesson?
The moon teaches us that with each item in our life, there are some that pull us towards them and others that propel us away.
At times (since we are made of water) the tide is high and at times the tide is low.
The high is considered a correct intuitive ping that is based off of clarity and the low would be our own decision of self sabotage.

Like the waves that crash on rocks during the full moon, we too break and destroy the pathway to our goal. This card is about power.
Energy.
The unseen pull towards our Divine path.

Sometimes we resist. Sometimes we go with the flow.
Regardless, the lesson we must learn is about trusting in the unknown path, and allowing it to aid us in our spiritual growth.
It is not about the choice. It is about what happens afterwards. The walking. The following of the energy.
The work.
We have to keep moving, for the moon card will pull us towards our goal. We have to keep making choices and experiencing, in order to create.
It is our fear of choosing that can lead us off course. The fear of loss.
The moon is here to tell us, what ever path we choose will contain an experience that will lead us to our next destination.

Four of Cups, The High Priestess, Eight of Swords:
Once we make our choice and take our first step, we have to trust that things will work out okay.
We may get bored. We may think, perhaps things would have been better with the other path of choice.
I hate to state this to you but things would have been the same.
Sometimes we look for the truth in different places.
Thinking that we will find it outside of our environment. Outside of who we are.
We soon find out that the truth is right there in front of us. Carried in the back pocket of our life.
Sometimes the truth is delivered to us through signs and symbols from Source.
Sometimes the truth is visible to us in the distance but we are tied down by all of the things that matter to us.
The truth has been showing up in the past few readings. As if it wants us to move forward but we desire to stay in the past.
The Eight of Swords is showing us that movement is possible but with small steps.
The High Priestess is telling us to have faith in the unknown. To just know that it will work out in our favor.
The Four of Coins is showing us that our desire is found in our very own back yard.
Ah!
I get it.
Sometimes we have to take the long way home, in order to appreciate what we truly have.
Sometimes we have to get lost, in order to find our way home.
To rest.
To find our power.
It was never lost. It was sitting there within your spiritual temple all the while. Waiting.
Waiting for us to recognize that the breaking down and building up of things, has always been within our grasp.
What are the Spirits saying about these cards?
They want us to look past the obstacles. Look past the broken hearts, broken bottles, and broken desires.
Look past the items that we can feel.
Look past the unmet goals.
Farther.
Farther.
Keep walking.
Keep running.
There is no direction. There is no sidesteps.
There is only forward. There is only manifestation. We will get to our next goal but while we travel down the road to it, we must enjoy.
We must listen to the whispers as we are guided by our own Inner Being.
Guided back to the beginning.
Guided back home.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Multiple Exchange

Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Two of Coins:
I believe the card is telling us to maintain a level of balance.
Walking the thin line between good and bad can sometimes be difficult. Even for an old pro, like me.
This mystic still struggles with wanting to be good and wanting to be bad.
When I first started to learn the Tarot, this card represented the word ‘balance’.
Making sure that your check book contains enough to pay bills, have fun, and buy food.
Now that I am grown, the card represents a balance with the physical and spiritual side of our life.
The coins are the physical part of life. The money part. The manifestation of things desired.

This card takes on the multiple exchange of life and death. Remember that life and death go hand in hand. The process of breakdown in order to be something greater.
The process of decay to lead to life. From compost to rose, we see this process all through nature. The two of coins is just a detail of this process. The balance of things in our life. The balance of crap that we have to deal with from attitudes and emotions.
What is the lesson?
To accept.
To keep moving.
To keep walking with the items attached. Eventually things will fall out.

I see this like a bucket of water. Filled to the brim. Walk with it and some will spill out.

I see the spilled amount as the unwanted and the left over as the much needed.
We smile even though some is lost. We smile because we know that we can always get more from the endless supply of energy called Source.

Justice, The Moon, Queen of Cups:
Harsh words my friend.
Be prepared to deal out the bad news or to receive the awful truth.
It may sting at first but in the end we all move forward. Whether it is cookie coated or bitter sweet, the truth is always revealed.
The moon card stands out to me.
Here we have a decision. A choice.
Two paths that we have to look at and choose.
One is dark.
One is light.
No matter what you choose, the outcome will be the same.
The two other cards tell a different story.
The Justice card is about energy and the law of truth. The Queen of Cups is about the Dark Mother. Transmutation of energy within our life.
Destroys and changes things around. We see the Two of Coins and it speaks to us about decay.

I am getting a message.
This is not about us. It is about others. We must transmute the energy that others are giving us. We must take on the sign of the Scorpio.
Loving and cruel. Wants what is desired. Passionate about what will bring them good.
We must make a decision about someone else. We must decide if they will bring us good or only more heartache.
I do not want you to go into the relationship with a broken heart. I want you to go into the relationship with a strong heart.
Be you. Be awesome.

Sometimes I think that when I tell you to be awesome, you shy away. Maybe you get tired of the spiritual cheerleader screaming about how wonderful you are.
Screaming about how wonderful you can be.
Sometimes the greatness is hard to believe.
I get it.

Do not be afraid my friends.
With every great brush stroke of your life, we must counter with a small brush stroke of greatness.
Unimagined.
Unnoticed.
Off balance.

Make that choice. Walk that path.

What is my advice?

State to the people who hold you down, “I am choosing a path. Either get on the bus or get the hell out of my way!”

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Bitch Self

Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Four of Coins:
This card talks about conserving versus hoarding.
We see the struggle on the mans face in the card. Do I save my money for a rainy day, regardless if it is not raining, or save it due to my false thought of “lack of”?
Money can be viewed as an energy.
It must be processed just like anything else in our life.
It has the same value as other lessons. It contains the worth as love. It is just an energy.
If you view as anything else then the value is diminished and it becomes your vice.

It holds us down.
It complicates things.
It makes us crazy.
We have to find out how to conserve our money, our time, our self worth.
Holding on too long will only make us want more. The thought of “lack of” will settle in and our adventure comes to a halt.

If we were to look at the man on the card we could see that he his sitting on the side of the road, stuck, and holding on to things (what he sees as precious) for dear life.
In the distance there is a castle. A town. A place of new adventure.
Maybe it is a bank.
Maybe It is a store.
Maybe it is his goal.

One thing that we have to learn from the Four of Coins is that all things require time and thought. Maybe that is the money he is holding onto. Time and thought. Energy to create.
If we are to hold onto these things due to the thought of “lack of”, then what we desire will always be in the distance.
Give things away.
Hold onto things.
Be selfish.
Be free.

The power does not lie in the act. It lies in the thought process. If you give with the thought of “there is always more”, then you will get exactly thought.
When you do not give and think that you have to hold onto everything, in order to have more, then you will always be caught within the state of ‘not enough’.
This man sits on the cusp of both thought forms. He simply has to choose. He simply has to get up and move.

Four of Wands, Three of Coins, The Hierophant:
Last week was about being strong. This week is about returning to what we know is truth.
Maybe we need to be tough and rugged. Maybe the old bitch needs to come out and make shit happen.
Regardless, we are a new person. Our past never really goes away. The old self just sits quietly in the past. It waits.
It asks us nicely ‘are you okay?’
It asks us several times ‘do you need our help?’
We answer back, “No. No. I am fine. I am light now. You are dark. I need to be gentle. I need to be compassionate.”

We soon find out that it only leads us back to the beginning. Eventually our bitch self comes roaring out when we are fed up.
When we are frustrated.
It is not a bad thing.
That old self is there to get things moving. To get things done. After the pieces of glass are cleaned up, the old self returns to its chair in the past, waiting. Waiting for the opportunity to destroy what lies we tell our self.

I am not telling you that your old bitch self has to stay for long periods of time. They are only welcome for the time it takes to snap us back into shape. After that we must work with the power of independence and spiritual practice. It is always a struggle. It is always a balance.
Sometimes the power we have inside wants to come out in full force and demolish what is around us. Sometimes we feel that destroying shit will create the change that is needed. As if we are able to hit a reset button on the game of life.
I wish this was true.
Sometimes the old self (hurt, demolished, sad, depressed, etc.) must be present, to remind us of how far we have come.
To show us where we started, how far we have traveled, and just how much stronger we are now.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron
