2016 Yule/Winter Solstice Tarot Blog Hop
Hello Beautiful People,

Well I decided to participate in the Tarot Blog Hop topic of Yule/Winter Solstice.
I was advised by this week’s wrangler that the subject was to be about Shadows and the Unseen.
Let us begin.

Everything in this life prepares for winter. Winter can take on many meanings. Winter can be cold. Winter can be snow. The ending of a cycle of life.
Death.
Death is a touchy subject around people. I always associate myself with the Addams Family character known as Wendy. Death is no surprise to me. Death is simply the passing of one spiritual cycle to the next. Our spirit moves in the shadows for a bit. We slip and slide through reality.
We grow dim.
Notice how I did not say the word dark. We are truly never in the dark. It may seem that way. It may look like no light is slipping into our life when Death happens.
Our eyes are closed.
When we wake up from our sleep, we must transition from shadow to light.

Everything dies within this world. The plants decay and the trees fall. Everything also grows back. Buds pop up from out of the earth. New limbs proceed to grow. The soil produces new off spring.
Death is never really the end.
Death is simply another form of sleep.
How will I relate this to the Tarot?
The Death card is number 13 (my favorite number). It sits in a transitory position. It is followed by the number 14 – Temperance. Notice how it is associated with change. From one into the other. Notice how change is never associated with stopping.
We sometimes view Death as an action that has an ending. I view it as an action that never ends.
We proceed into the next card “Temperance”, which deals with healing. Why would we have to heal if Death means that everything stops.
The cards would end at number 13 and return to the Fool. This does not happen. The cards proceed forward and (I hate to say this) the cards take us through even more death and destruction than before. It seems like the Death card is entering into our life to state “Get ready bitches! Take notes because the next transition will be a doozy.”

(Do you want to know a secret? I never really know what I will be writing about until I sit down and start to type away. Hehe.)

Let us bring everything full circle. Ha-Ha! Full circle. Just like Death, everything begins with a steady motion and fulfills its destiny.
Destiny.
Maybe Death is simply stating to us, “You have done your part. Now it is time to close the book on this chapter and move onto the next.
No.
No.
No looking back now. That was the past. This is the future. “
Death takes us on this wild ride into the night. We slip and slide. We fall and break. We mend and contain. At the end of it all we return to what is known. We return to the Light.
We return home.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

4 Spiritual Tips for the New Tarot Reader

Hello Beautiful People,

I decided to put some helpful information into an entry for all those lovely new Tarot Readers out there coming into their new found gift. The tips that are below are formulated due to my own past. Please read with an open mind and open heart. Know that these are just suggestions and with everything in life I hope you take the road less traveled.

Spiritual Tip #1: Work on your own shit!

A lot of people think that they will automatically be transformed into an awesome Tarot reader overnight. As if Source and the spirits will grant you magical powers through osmosis due to sleeping with the deck under your pillow. Hate to tell you this but you have a lot of work ahead of you.
One of things I tell all my students is that they need to work on all their past bullshit in order to move forward. The Tarot cards are wonderful teachers. They really do reflect everything back onto us.

What do I mean by “Shit”?
Well, are you still holding onto a grudge?
Do you have issues with your family? Are you mad at your Ex?
What irritates you?
Do you talk in a positive manner or a negative one? Can you find good in everything?

I had to work on my own shit for a few years and I am still working on some items at the present moment. Letting go of stuff and understanding that they are not worth the worry can aid you on your process a lot quicker. When we read for other people the cards will reflect the reading right back onto us. We can dish out the advice on what needs to be worked on but can we apply that reading to our current state?

Ever wonder why you get a lot of clients with love, health, or money questions? Can you spot a trend in cards being pulled?
Do they apply to your own life in any way?
Most of the time when we are reading for another we can see a little bit of our current situation in the cards, and as we start to give sound advice to our reader, we notice that some of that information is describing our own struggle with our current situation.

Working on “your own shit” will help you to develop more compassion, being able to give sound advice, and also understanding a person’s journey.

With the development of your spirit and working through your own stuff you can then in turn help others who may struggle with the same topics.

Spiritual Tip #2: Learn a new spiritual technique to support your readings.

Why do you have to learn something new when you are just starting to understand the Tarot?
Easy.
In order to deepen your Tarot Readings with your clients.
You really are going to have moments where the cards will just simply stop talking to you. They will not want to be read, or rather, they will put you through a sort of test where you get to play “Hot or Cold” with them.

My advice on this issue (which I know will take place sometime during your readings) is to learn a secondary form of divination (such as numerology, astrology, reading an aura, mediumship, psychometry = reading through touch), developing your psychic abilities, etc.)

How will this help you?
Sometimes the spirits and the cards will simply not want to be read at that very moment, or you have a brain fart and the information stops flowing, or (heaven forbid) you forget your cards at home and nothing is around to take their place. Regardless of the reason, we are all human, and rather than cancel your appointments, you can fall back on one other form of divination that you have somewhat mastered. A good Tarot reader has a bag of tricks stashed to the side when weird things start to take place.
Believe me, this happens more often than not, and I have to revert back to my original days of reading through touch or communicating with my spirit guides. The cards can be funny at times. Sometimes we have to have some sort of distraction to push us back on track. Usually I pull out my oracle decks for a second opinion on the cards or throw some crystals to answer a simple question in a fast manner rather than take a full 15 minutes to state to the client that the answer is “no”.

Spiritual Tip #3: Have a daily conversation with your Spirit Guides.

Do you talk to your Spirit Guides?
In the beginning I use to talk to my Spirit Guides all the time. I would ask them 17 questions in 17 different ways in hope that I would get a different answer. Hehe. Boy was I wrong.
The good thing about Spirit Guides is that they are very patient and playful. Well, actually some are, others can be very straight faced and drill sergeant like. I have had the pleasure of working with the drill sergeant Spirit Guides when reading for certain clients. They are a hoot because they come through full force and with no time to play. They want to get to the point and also state the obvious to the client so that they can get on with spiritual growth.
They do know more than we know at that present moment.
Did you know that Spirit Guides change?
Did you know that there is usually more than one?
There is a Spirit Guide with Tarot, Astrology, Healing, etc.

I bet your saying, “I can never talk to them. They do not answer back.”
No one said it would happen instantaneously. When you first meet a person on the street you do not automatically start talking about a subject that they have no idea about. It is like any relationship, you have to start at the beginning. Say hello to them every so often and wait for a response. Ask them to give you a sign. Listen.

Maybe they are talking to you all the time but with all the noise and sounds in this world we seem to be blinded to the signs that are right in front of us.

All I can tell you is to keep trying. Keep sending out that request to talk to them. Do not worry about what they look like and also do not worry about a name. They will reveal that to you in time. The one thing to look out for is the consistency of the Spirit Guide and also if they are being supportive to what you wish to accomplish. If they are not positive and supportive, or have a positive suggestion, then you are probably talking to a malicious spirit. Advise them to move on and that they are not welcome in your environment. Send a request, out into the Universe, that only good and helpful spirits are welcome to assist you.

Spiritual Tip #4: Find an online/in person Tarot Community, or Mentor, that supports you.

This is a great tip for the new Tarot Reader. There are so many people online now a days that are willing to help you. Some will offer advice or suggestions for free and others will offer it for a price.
The free information is always a bonus but in turn maybe you should also promote them. There is always more than enough in your life, so promoting someone else will also show that you are humble and confident. In this world of Tarot a supportive community can be hard to find. Usually some readers are trying to make a buck so that they can make it big and bring in a lot of money. Some will be so honed in on reading for everyone and attracting so many clients that their wallet is filled to the brim with money.
In all honesty a reader can only handle a certain amount of clients a day. And someone who tells you that they can read 100 people all day long for a week straight is a fucking idiot. They are totally bullshitting you. I am sure they can do it but will probably be out for a month due to psychic poisoning. Trust me. I have been there. No Bueno!!
If you do decide to pay for advice or help, make sure that the person is reliable, ready to answer questions before hand about the program, and also be transparent with what you are paying for. Those who give you the run around, or do not answer in a timely manner when you ask questions about the program are probably not a good fit for you.

A new Tarot Reader needs substance. A new Tarot Reader needs bulk. A new Tarot Reader needs guidance. Hand holding. A sounding board to bounce ideas off of.
A community or a group that you join should be supportive in what you do, answer questions in a professional manner, be willing to help or point you in the right direction, and offer classes.

Knowledge is your greatest power. If you can read, then buy books. Certification can be a fucking joke sometimes. If the class is well worth the money and the information is so structured and well thought out, then take it!
Remember that you will have to invest money into your gifts. I am all for it, but my only advice is to really research the item you are going to spend your hard earned money on.
What does money have to do with Community?
There are so many Meet-ups out there and online groups that require you to pay to join. That is okay. Some are fucking amazing and others, well, leave you lost amongst others who are on a different level than you. You can get lost in the shuffle if you are not up to par with the group or you can feel unchallenged with the information being provided. If it is donation based then go for it. Try it out. Give a little to get a little (or a lot). Support your local spiritual teachers. See what they have to offer and how much they cost for one on one coaching. The real spiritual teachers in this world will know what you can afford and how serious you really are.
If they offer classes for a certain rate then look into what is being offered for the price and if it is worth it. In all honesty there are no degrees in the spirit world. Everything is based off of experience. Everything is based off of what lesson you have learned.

Until next time.

Blessed Be.

2016 Beltane Tarot Blog Hop: Mother May I?

2016 BELTANE TAROT BLOG HOP

The topic for this particular Hop is about the word “May”.
What the Fuck!
What about May?

Oh no she betta don’t!

I am having to think about what the word “May” means to me and it has to tie into Tarot.
Tarot?
Oh I am to write about Tarot and May. I get it now. Hehe.
Anywho.
Well, when I think about Tarot and the word May, I seem to want to travel back into time to my younger years.
You know when Jesus was alive. Ha!
Just kidding.
Yes mija I was once young and cute. I use to get compliments on my dimples. Believe dat!
(I love doing Blog Hops because it is more about fun than really connecting to Source and receiving information about the energy of the week, so this is where you will see a little bit of my sassy side come out.)

May?

Oh yes! I return to my younger years and I think of the game “Mother May I?”
You know. Someone would be the leader and there would be a distance set between the leader and the players, the leader would call out commands to each person, you would have to ask “Mother may I?” before you advance, or you would be out. First person to reach the leader wins.
I know it sounds complicated but, believe me, it is just like “Simon Says”.
I am sure you are asking right now, “How does it tie into Tarot?!”

Be patient.

It will all be revealed.

When you first start to read Tarot, I am sure you peek at the cards for people that you know, in order to practice.
Do you ask them for consent?
I doubt it.
If you do, then good for you. You can probably stop reading this entry then because it will be about us bad kids who went against the grain.
Fuck ya I peeked!
Hell, I looked at a lot of cards regarding the guys that I thought were hot in High School. I needed to know their status.

Okay. So, I use to look at lot at cards for people and in all honesty I thought it was harmless fun. If nothing transpired from it then it was safe. Well, at least I thought it was safe.
When you read for someone without their consent it is kind of like you are standing outside of their bedroom window, peeking in, in hope that you will see something good.
Did I see something good?
Yes. I did.
Was it worth it? Not really. It did not help me in any way because I never use to talk to them after learning the information. I did not get a date with them or see any great information. I also was not able to confirm or deny what I had seen in the cards. (I was a shy bitch back then.)
I really had to ask myself, years later, if this was cool or not. I would not want someone looking into my past, present, or future without my consent.
I would want them to ask “Mother may I?” first.
Of course I would say yes to them.
Any information I receive from Source is good information, even if it is coming from another person.

What is the moral of this story?
Stop being a nosy bitch! o.O
Haha!
Don’t take offense. I was once a nosy bitch as well. If anything you should ask the person if you can look at their cards and get a little practice in (if you are new to Tarot).

Now I know to always ask “Mother may I?”

There have been a few times that even if the person reached out to me for a reading, I could not read for them without consent, due to their spirit guides and higher-self needing to be asked.
Oh lord, the spiritual rules we have to follow sometimes. Blah!

All in all, my readings were a little deeper and information seemed to flow when the person gave consent. It is almost like they are opening the door for you and allowing you to come right in and look through their medicine cabinet. (I was brought up right. I only look in the medicine cabinet when I go to use their bathroom. What they don't know wont hurt them.)
;-)

Oops!
I mean their refrigerator.

Until next time.

Blessed Be,
Aaron

Tarot Advice for This Damn Weight Issue: Week 4

12/1/2015

Comments

Good Morning beautiful people!

I am still moving forward and working through my diet and exercise plan.
It is coming along and I am trying to stick to it but the holidays are making it damn hard!

Last week brought about the message of "letting things go" and I started to do just that during the Holiday weekend. I worked out every other day, rather then not working out at all, and worked on the habit of eating till I was full. I did not over eat. I ate in small portions and really listened to my body.

I did not feel as bloated the next day and also I was motivated to keep to a workout schedule.

I am loving the new Cize workout videos from Shaun T. The second disk is much harder and it keeps me moving.

Let us see what this week brings:

Picture
Robin Wood Tarot Deck.

The Chariot card is showing up. Force and movement. Ah, reaching my goal through dedication. The Chariot is telling me that I must keep things balanced.
Light and dark.
Good and bad.

So many Pages are showing up. To me, they represent a message. The swords are coming through as spoken words and the Cups are coming through as a surprise. Look at the Nine of Wands.
I must be prepared for the coming weeks. Looks like there may be some set backs regarding my diet and exercise, but I must prepare for what is to come. Maybe I have to look at my accomplishments of losing weight as an incentive, rather then looking at them as a completion of my goal.
I am not going to lose weight if I keep allowing myself to have goodies and over indulge after every pound I lose.

I have to stay strong and understand that it is time for change.

The message within the cards is to "take the power and run".

I have all tools necessary to reach my goal. I just have to use them.
Transform them.
Create.

Until next time my friends.

Keep focused and know that you have the tools to achieve your goal.

Tarot Advice for This Damn Weight Issue: Week 3

11/22/2015

Comments

Hello again!

Last week was about being kind to my body. Listening to  the unknown about where I am (with my weight) and where I am going.
Did the DVD's arrive at my house?

Why, yes they did. As seen in the cards, it arrived on Monday. The work out is going very well. I love it!

I get to dance again. I get to express myself once more, with my body, to some great music. Now, I am not back in my college days dancing a full routine with jumps and falls. Hell-to-the-no!

I am not that in shape. Granted I do miss coming up with my own choreography to some great music from Tori Amos.

I am listening to her as I type this post out. Her music always speaks to me during my times of working through  my shit. Haha.

This diet and weight issue can be a struggle at times. I was once skinny. Well, skinny in my eyes. I was once happy with my body and my weight. I was dedicated.
Now, I am simply trying to stay in decent shape and also get everything else in my life in order.

To provide energy and time to two other people can stretch you thin. You start to tell yourself, when it calls out to you for some "me time", that you simply are too busy. Maybe tomorrow.

Yes, maybe tomorrow. Which leads me to the reading. What do the cards have to say about my diet and exercise plan? This damn weight issue?
Let us find out.

Picture
The Fool is calling to me! He/She is advising me that new things are taking place. Is it time for a new course of action?

I think so.

I feel it is time to step things up. Follow a plan that allows me to have protein but more vegetables. Fruit is not always high on my list. I can usually satisfy my sweet tooth with an apple.

Uriel is the Archangel of innovative thoughts and actions. Well it is time to come up with a new plan of action that will benefit me in the end.

Am I really taking all of this seriously?
Of course, but remember last week, the Queen of Swords energy started to creep in. I am to take on that energy and say:
"Listen puta. You have to stop playing around and get serious. You want change? Then make it happen!"

Aye Dios Mio!

Now I see that a change is taking place for the better. That change has to be powerful in nature. It can be small in action but powerful.

It is the week of Thanksgiving Holiday. I am hosting this year and all that wonderful food will be right in front of my face. It is time for some Willpower. A little bit of self restrain. Come on Aaron. Get with it!

Oh gosh! I am such a hard ass! Lol!

Oh geez.
Back to the reading....

The cards below are always the details of how to achieve the top card as a goal.

I see that there is a victory later in the week. I promised myself that I would get serious the day after Thanksgiving.
I believe I can do it.

See the Knight of Cups? This is action within the realm of the heart. Emotions will surface but if I am ready and willing to move past my past actions then I will move smoothly through them.
I have learned that past relationships, and those who I have loved, mixed in with the things I regret, bubble up to the surface. I begin to doubt the very special and beautiful person I truly am.

This leads me to the Four of Coins. The Miser. He who holds onto the energy. He who holds onto the truth. Sometimes being closed off is a good thing. Sometimes being closed off is a bad thing. We have to look at the nature of why we are closed off. This card is telling me that I may have to close myself off for a while and really think about where I am spending my time and energy.

I have been living it up on the weekends after eating so good and healthy during the week. My choices are causing me to gain weight. To say it is okay to have just a few small items here and there.
Those small items lead into bigger items and then I find myself in a corner holding onto a package of Oreo Cookies like a gosh darn crack whore.

Oh it is not a pretty site.

The overall message of the cards is simply "let go". This week will have to do with letting things go. Let go of the torment of looking in the mirror and stating just how fat I am. To tell myself it is time to go on a diet. To tell myself I am not worthy.

It is time to state "Yes I am worthy". I am worthy of making great choices that will lead to other great choices.
To tell myself just how beautiful and wonderful I am.

Sometimes we forget that about our self. We forget how truly spectacular we are.
Maybe it is time to turn over a new leaf?
I believe it is.

How are your diet and exercise plans going? How far have you come along with your goal? Also the Shaun T new exercise program "Cize" is actually really fun and easy.

Till next time.

Tarot Advice for This Damn Weight Issue: Week 2

11/15/2015

Comments

Last week the Tarot talked about having the answer to all my problems within my own back yard. It talked about how I was going to see a little bit of defeat last week but will still keep my mind focused on my goal.

Well I did have some issues. The work out DVDs that I ordered are still not here. Bummer. Haha!

I was very excited to start the new work out program. I guess I will have to wait. This week it should be here. I am still sticking to a healthy eating plan. Sensible. No eating out unless it is healthy food rather then eating Fast Food. That stuff can make you feel so crappy afterwards.

So let us see what this week will bring. Lord help me.

Picture

So, as you can see here the cards are talking about people and their energy. Blah! The court cards can be so many things, at times, during a reading. They do not scare me anymore. They use to.

Now I am comfortable enough to look at them and give a slight eye roll. Like I am saying "look at this shady bitch. Showing up with all her damn peoples."

Let us see what the Queens have to say.

The Queen of Cups is showing up to tell me that I can see exactly what is needed to get my weight under control. I can see it and taste it. My goal is within reach. Be kind to my body and do not over do it. She is telling me that there will be people there to help me along my way.

The Queen of Swords is a helper. She is bringing in the power and spells to set me on a course of action. With her wonderful words of wisdom and sharp tongue, she will push me towards my goal. Hmmm when I see this card I think of Shaun T. He is a person who inspires and cheers you to your goal. He pushes you to be a better person in his DVDs. Just because it is a Queen card does not mean the person is a woman. I always tell people it is more about the energy of the person. It can be a male with a female spirit and vice versa.

I can see by the Page of Coins that my parcel will arrive and I will get right to it. The High Priestess is advising me to trust in the unknown. Things happen for a reason and that reason is always good. Also I have to take into consideration that I am the creator of my environment.

Archangel Gabriel is telling me that I need to trust my intuition this week when it comes to my weight. I think the Angels want us to be gentle and kind to our bodies. They are not going to tell us to do more than we can. Gabriel is advising me to trust in what I know and also keep my mind on my goal.

How is your new diet and work out goal going? Are you starting out with big changes or small ones?

Till next time my friend.

Blessed Be.

Tarot cards and songs that get my ass back on track. Mkay!

11/9/2015

Comments

Hello Beautiful People,

I love, love, love the Tarot! Yes, many of you know this. How much do I love the Tarot. Well, enough so that within everything that takes place in my life, I usually associate a tarot card with the experience I am having in the moment. So, when songs come on the radio or a song is running through my head on repeat (like when Taylor Swift came out with You Belong To Me, and it was stuck in my head for days on repeat. Yuck!), they usually remind me of a tarot card. Here are a few songs that get my ass back on my spiritual track and the cards that I associate them with.

1. "I dare you to move" by Switchfoot:

This song always comes on when the Spirits want me to listen. To pay attention to something within my life. It rarely means movement or change. It usually confirms that I am in the right spot at the right time. Why? Well, there is one part of the lyrics that touches my heart:

"Maybe redemption has stories to tell? Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell. Where can you run to escape from yourself? Where you gonna go?...salvation is here."

This song is associated with The Star card. My goal is set and I have to keep my eye on the prize. I must keep moving forward and know that everything is taking place at the right time. With the washing away of my past actions, comes the beginning of others. This song advises me to let go of the past and stay focused on my goal.

2. "I can see clearly now" by Johnny Nash:

This song will only come on when something wonderful and awesome is going to happen.
Actually, I usually hear this song when I am in a phase that I like to call "breaking through the sludge". It is a small amount of filth that sits around your aura. It happens when a person is moving forward on their spiritual journey and a major breakthrough is going to happen. For some reason a build up of energy takes place that looks like dark sludge. Kind of like a cocoon. I hear this song when I have reached my spiritual limit and it helps me understand that there is only good in my life. This build up of energy is very thin but to me it can feel like a wall. Usually I am in a time of need and this song plays on the radio. It brings me back to center and advises me that "yes, everything is clear now. Move on. Breakthrough the shadow and live in the sun."

I associate this song with the Six of Swords.  I am on a journey and it is time to move from one part of my life (the sludge) to the next (the light). It may be rough (like the water in the card) but eventually I will reach my destination (the smooth water on the other side of the boat).

3. "Break it down again" by Tears for Fears:

The Tower is the card that comes to mind when I listen to this song. The song reminds me that we all must break down our thoughts and beliefs that we have built our foundation on in order to grow. As the song states "no more building up, it is time to dissolve".
Dissolve we must. It is all part of the whole. You will not need the items you have gathered in the next phase of your spiritual growth. I always look at the Tower card as a form of rebuilding. We are thrown from our safe haven, flung to the ground, and advised to pick up the pieces to start over. It is required in order to break through barriers. I listen to this song when I am trying to understand the importance of breaking shit down. Of items being destroyed in our life. Of glass shattering. It has to happen. It is part of life. It is part of the process.

4. "Jar of Hearts" by Christina Perri:

The Lovers card is what comes to mind when this song is playing on the radio. This is the last song I will explain because it really has a lot of meaning in my life right now. This card is associated with a past relationship that I was involved in. Actually it represents most of my past love interests. Yes, even a Spiritual person like me struggles with the past. This song helps me to understand that we are constantly faced with decisions in our life. They may be hard to handle and also hard to digest. The past will come back to haunt you. It is all about choosing to move past what ever bullshit is present in your life. Move past all the pain and hurt that comes along with thoughts of those who you have loved. Those who have not loved you back. When I hear this song, I have to work through my issue of holding onto someone who has no real truth in the present moment. They are simply there to remind me of what I want in my life and where I am going. That is what the Lovers card means to me.

What songs do Spirit use to represent a message that is being sent to you? Are there songs that mean something to you when you are faced with fork in your spiritual path? Let me know.

Until the next time my friend.

Blessed Be.

Tarot advice for this damn weight issue: Week One

11/8/2015

Comments

Picture

I decided to finally get the last bit of this weight off of my lovely body! Haha!

It would be nice to get back to my original weight of 155(Well more like 152).
So I decided to make a little pact with myself. I went ahead and purchased Shaun (delish) T's new exercise program called Cize.
It looks like a lot of fun and I will be referring to it with my next post. I think I am going to post about my progress with losing weight and also what inspirational thoughts the cards may have for that week.

The spread above is something I just came up with. Simple advice for a not so simple matter.

The first position is where I am at. The Four of Cups. This tells me that I have the answers right in front of me. I am receiving everything I need from Source and yet I still look away. I am looking more towards the inner strength and practicality of...dare I say it....Exercise!

I can hear you booing and hissing at me right now. Like that scene from Hocus Pocus, when Bette Midler says "Did you hear what he called you Sisters?"

The bottom three cards are more of advice from Source and the spirits. I am going to try and throw in some Angel advice since I am taking a course in Angel correspondence with the Tarot from Angelorum. You should check it out.
Anywho...

When I look at the three cards above (Ace of Wands, 5 of Swords, Death) I see the word "procrastinator".
Yup. That is me but the answer is in the cards. The 5 of Swords may look like a possible bad card but it is not.
It tells us about the ability to change. That we sometimes look at others and how easy it can be to lose weight or give up something in order to create change.

The two cards next to the 5 of swords are kind of like pillars of foundation. They hold up the card in the middle and neutralize it.
The Ace of swords gives me strength. The Death card is a familiar old friend.

Change is in order.

Ordering the new workout program is going to be helpful but the mind still will play tricks.

This spread is not just for me. Like all posts that I put up, which contain tarot cards in it, it is meant for everyone.

If you are starting a new project or goal then understand that you are holding yourself back. It is time to change your thoughts. It is time to understand that you are worthy of this new change in your life.

We may not see the end goal yet. We may not even see the start of it but we can feel it.

What do the Angels say about this reading. Since Michael and Camael show up, then I think they are telling us to be our authentic self and shine our lite on everything we do. Understand that we are protected and that we are not here to try and give up, but to succeed.

Also that darn Scorpio is showing up in our life. The energy that states either get on the bus or get out of the way. Passion.

Yes, I do believe that it is time to take care of my own self. To lose this weight in order to be healthy.

They are not telling us to do it overnight but they are telling us to try. Simply try.

Are you trying to lose weight as well? What goal are you wanting to manifest in this world? Let me know.

Blessed Be.

If I could write a Letter and address it to my 19 year old self...

Aaron Tarot
If I could write a letter to my 19 year old self.
If I could write a letter and address it to the past, then I would send it back in time to when I was 19. I was just getting started and Tarot was becoming part of my life. I set out on a journey and this is when it all started.

I would not want to make the letter too long because I know (or knew) at that age I was not going to pay attention to too much detail. I would have looked at it, read a page of the letter, and put it down on a desk somewhere. I would have thought it was silly that a letter from the future was in my hand and probably would have laughed at it. So, there would probably be 10 important items that I would address and make sure they were in bold, because the eye will go directly to the important parts and soak that shit up.

What would I say?

Well, that is a very good question.

Hmm, hmm.

Me me me me…

Okay. Ready.

It would go something like this:

Dear 19 year old Aaron,

Listen Bitch!

Now that I have your attention, let us begin.

I know you have your first Tarot deck that was given to you by a teacher named Eileen. Ya bitch I know. Believe me they will become the greatest tool in your witchy bag of tricks. Now let us move forward and get to the important stuff.

Number 1: Try Everything!
If you think that you will only stick with Tarot as your source of information, you are setting yourself up for failure. Stop being a Prude!
Bitch, I know you.
You are a huge Prude at your age and I think it will benefit you to pick up a damn pendulum, Oracle deck, and some crystals. You should start to learn them now, because when you are older, oh let’s say a handsome 38 years old, then you will find these to be an added benefit to your readings. So, stop being a prudish bitch when it comes to your spiritual tools and get your shit together now, rather than later.

Number 2: Seek out other sources of information.
Yes, your mom will burn the book that came with your most favorite deck but she does you a damn favor. She set you off on a path to seek out other sources of information. You did not have to rely on a book that would give you isolated thoughts and direction.
Stop crying over it. Stop holding a grudge. Get over it.
Your mom was no different than you at that very moment in time. She was on her own spiritual path, as you were on yours. Understand that she will be your nonjudgmental spiritual teacher later in life. She will understand you better than the teachers you find later. Believe me.

Number 3:  Start working with affirmations.
Yes, think positive bitch. No bitch, don’t think only positive thoughts. Take the negative thoughts you have in your mind right now (which will probably be about how you are not with someone and need to be with someone) and change them! Think about the good in your life. Think about how worthy you are to be loved. Think about the air in your lungs, the fact that you are alive, and that you are beautiful.

Yes, you are beautiful.

Tell yourself in the mirror every day that you are exactly where you need to be. Now go and do it! I will wait.

Did you do it? Probably not, but you will eventually, and when you do, it will feel like the missing link was found. That the puzzle is now complete.

Number 4: Stop looking for love!
You probably will not listen to this advice. You will keep on looking but at least it will sit in the back of your mind. Love is there. You simply have to recognize it. The love you require is not found in any other person. It sits in the very center of your heart. The love that you find later in life for your perfect self is the greatest love of all.
Oh shit I sound like Whitney Houston!

Number 5: Do not sell or give away your Tarot books.
I know you. You will want to help others.
They will not ask for it.
They will look at you weird.
They will accept the gifts and act like Rizzo on Grease when the head cheerleader Patty comes walking up and hands her a paper for the dance. She sounds interested as she proceeds to rip it up and throw it away. Keep your books until Source decides to tell you with a very firm voice “Give it away”.
Believe me you will end up buying the same books later in life. So save yourself some money and keep them for as long as you can.

Number 6: Ask for something in return for a reading.
Bitch!
Your shit is not free!
Well, maybe in the beginning it can be free. Like the first 30 people you read for should be free but you need something in return on the 31st person. Don’t act all modest and shit. If they offer you a coffee then accept it. If they want to buy you lunch, and you are not hungry, then take that shit home in a doggie bag. Make a list of things you can always use like crystals, candles, statues, incense, or a damn good massage.
They are not paying for your gift but for your time. Believe me there have been many times when I have done a reading and the person in front of you (me) kept asking the same questions over and over but with different words or in a different language.

Bitch Phalease!

The cards know what you are asking. Stop asking the same question over and over. You are wasting my time! It took me a long time to find this out. I had to pull up my big girl pants and say “Ya, well your time is up. Unless you want to pay me for my time then we are going to have to call it a night”. They will respect you later on for it.

Number 7: Have confidence!
After the 100th person that you read, and yes you will read many more after that, you need to have confidence that what you are saying is true. Trust in Source. Let the energy flow and state what you see. Do not get confused. If you see a horse, then say it! I see a damn horse. Never hold any positive information back from the client. You will eventually build up a system of symbols and signs that the spirits will keep using.
Let the cards talk to you and let the information flow. Do not look at the person’s facial expression. If they tell you “it doesn’t make sense”, then move on. Do not try and figure it out. Remember that you are there to give them information from Source. It is not for you to take home and figure it out for them.

Number 8: Buy Crystals and hold onto them!
Yes, we may have not been the richest bitch on the block, but we did have a job, and we were able to afford small crystals. Do not worry about your teacher crystals for they make their appearance later in life.
You will find a clear generator crystal at a lovely shop called Nutmeg’s Ojai House. They will be so beautiful and powerful that the moment you see them, you will know they are yours. Buy a lot of Amethyst, Rose Quartz, and Flourite. Especially Flourite. He will be your best friend later in life. This stone will give you much needed grounding, healing, and spiritual protection. Take care of them. Love them. Talk to them. They will be your guides into other realms and also teach you how to heal.

Number 9: Touch the cards.
Put your hands on them cards when you are stumped and have a question about the person in front of you.
Soak in that information.
Allow the cards to become part of you.
You will see this technique done later in life in a reading that you have done at Journey Home by a tarot reader named “Sea Gypsy Witch”. You will go with a friend named Lori and the reading will be filled with valuable information. She touched her cards when she wanted more information.
You will also see this technique done with a dear teacher and friend named Brian Parker. You will meet him later in life in Austin, TX. Yes bitch! You will move to Austin, Texas and meet your tribe. Do not give up hope on finding your tribe. They are there, but you will find out later that your tribe is spread out. They will live in many different places and be found at many different stages of your life.

Number 10: Start to get in touch with your Spirit Guides.
Yes, you will have a set of Spirit Guides that you will work with later in life. Start to get to know at least one of them when you are young. It will boost your confidence, empower you with readings, and help you through very difficult times. You will improve your psychic powers 10 times more and at a greater speed. Meditate more and more each day with an intent to hear your spirit guides.
Ask them for help. Allow them to guide you through troubled times and bless you when things are wonderful. They will never fail you and only empower you. Listen to them as they guide you throughout your day. They will only lead you to good. Believe me.

I tried to keep it short and sweet but you probably will only do a few of the items listed. I understand. I know who you are and what you are like at 19.
No matter what. You will be okay. You will be a great teacher, healer, tarot reader, and crystal journeyman. Never stop growing and know that there is someone out there that will love you for all your quarks and imperfections. Trust me on this one.

Love and Blessings,

Aaron
