The Energy of the Week: One Stroke
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

The Hierophant:
Sometimes you have to return to the old things in your life, in order to remember what kind of person you are, and what kind of person you wish to become.
The past is simply a reflection of what was.
It has no major hold on your current self, but there are moments when we must look back at our life, to understand the new signs and symbols set before us on our spiritual journey.

The Hierophant reminds me of the song “The Little Drummer Boy”.
Sometimes we only have a drum to play to those around us.
Like the little child, the Hierophant has only the book of wisdom.
The lessons and truth of what he has experienced.
All we have to give to the divine is our truth.
Our spirit.
Our love.
The divine states to us, “This is enough”.

To experience the joy of “being enough”.
The Hierophant is tradition, but it is knowledge of what has happened in the past.
This means that we sometimes have to return to our old self to re-evaluate our life.
To look at the things that have brought us to our current situation.
To understand them.

The Hierophant is number 5.
Change.
In the middle.
There is no fear associated with this card.
We have to accept the information that is being given.
We must take in the past and understand the lesson associated with it.

Strength, The Emperor, Five of Wands:
Maybe we forget to face the light.
We turn away from the sun and look only towards the shadow.
We struggle.
We fight.
We have a difference of opinion.

Others state to us that things look weird.
That things are different.

We stand.
We scream.
We shine.

With all the power in our spirit we burn the sludge from our aura.
We become great again.

Take charge of your path.
Mark a point on the map and claim the land.
By boat and train we travel to our new found place.

We put the pieces together, the puzzle is solved, and we understand that this is just a part of the greater picture.
One stroke.

This week contains that one stroke of beauty across the canvas of our life.
Imagine how beautiful the bigger picture will look when it is done.
When all strokes of life are put together.
When we are finally complete and whole.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Striking a Pose
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

The Hermit:
We move into the shadows to understand our emotions.
In the dark we stumble and fall.
We sit in silence with no whisper of the outside world.
We meditate.
We attempt to understand the memories hidden within our heart.
The ones that strike us at the stroke of midnight.
The ones that cause doubt.

We analyze them to the best of our ability.
We crush them.
We destroy the very essence of their being.
We sleep.
As we wake up, we return to our old life, new and wise.

This week is about our inner light.
We carry the lantern of inspiration and prosperity.
It is time to look within and shine a light on all of the doubt and shame.
The lantern of hope is a powerful tool.
It shimmers and shines bright on all things within our life.
It reveals what is hidden and what is to come.

Can you see it?
Can you feel it?

The curtain is parting and our big scene is coming up.
It is time to perform.
To put on that wonderful show in our life and shine.

Queen of Swords, Queen of Cups, Death:
These cards are characters in our life.
They are people who have influence in who we are, our choices, and who we give our love to.
Sharp tongued and strong willed, the Queen of Swords breaks through all obstacles.
She is outspoken and full of truth.
She communicates how she feels.

The Queen of Cups believes in sympathy to an extent.
She will tell us the exact outcome for she has looked deep within the waters of time and space.
She understands what must be given up in order to achieve greatness.
Get on the bus or get out of the way is what she states to us, as the tide pushes towards the sand.
We must listen to the sound advise these two people give to us.

We are in a state of transformation.
Good old Death card striking a pose.
Showing us the shimmer of what could happen if we just jump without thought.

Do not worry.
Do not have doubt.
Take our first step towards change.
Allow it to just flow over us.
Go with it.
Tell the Death card to bring it on.

With the two powerful court cards standing next to us, we achieve our goal.
We change.
We become better.

We learn that things happen to teach us to forgive, let go, and be awesome.
Do not worry about what is on the other side.
Just know that when we wake up from our slumber, we find that light fills our body, and we are whole again.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Content
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Two of Wands:
We hold the world in our hand.
We dance.
We understand.
Things look bright and contain power. We look to the horizon for truth and example.
We look to the horizon for an answer.

With the wind blowing and the rain passing, we listen to Source speak.
We contain the staff of knowledge in the other hand.
I see this card and try to work past the stand still picture.
The man in the picture is ready to throw his wand in the air and let it strike ground.
He will travel to that particular spot to see what is to be found.
Maybe there will be opportunity.
Maybe there will be love.
Maybe there will be nothing.

Regardless of what he will find, he still travels to where the wand has landed, with the world in his hand, he understands that everything will work out in his favor.

Sometimes we fear the “nothing”.
The unknown.
When this card shows up in a reading we have to advise the person that they hold the power in their own hand. The opportunity is created by their own will.
The spark has happened in the Ace of Wands, now it is time to let that spark grow into a fire.
Plan for the future. Plan for the present. Plan for the past.
All is intertwined.
Set the goal and sign the paper.
Throw your Wand into the air and when it lands, it may produce oil from the ground, causing you to strike it rich.
There is no time for day dreaming. This card is telling us that it is time to set a course for the northern star just past the horizon. Just past the sunset into the sunrise.

King of Wands, Ten of Coins, Three of Cups:
The Aries.
Fire.
The Warrior.

They fight with intention and make sure that what they strive for will be obtained.
Sometimes the fight is long and overwhelming, causing them to give up mid fight.
Laying down a sword and stating that they are finished for the moment.
This card is a prop.
We must take on that warrior energy and make sure that things are pushed into existence.
We come together in celebration with the Three of Cups.
We look into the cup of knowledge and see what will transpire.
We dance and celebrate the good that is around us, coming together to cast our spell of prosperity.

Community is key this week.
Coming together to be better as a whole, rather than individuals.
This week is about the celebration of what has been obtained.
Great minds coming together to create good.
We move in a circle motion to build up energy.
We move with the intent of pushing forward and breaking through obstacles.
We obtain the end result.

Things fall into place and we are satisfied.
Complete.
Whole.

We look to the future and plan for even more greatness to enter into our life.
We plan for more good times to happen.
The great moments in our life where we wake up the next morning with a smile on our face.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Road to Being a Spiritual Tarot Reader: To Spend or Not to Spend ?

The Road to Being a Spiritual Tarot Reader: To Spend or Not to Spend?
Dear Sweet Spirit,

I believe that some information should be free.
That there should be a community where those who cannot afford, and are wanting to grow, will find all the information they need.
Information can be found in a book, but the one thing that I was missing while learning, was a group to practice with.

Should we spend a lot of money to grow spiritually?
Not really.
Growth takes place when we move and expand.
If we choose to spend our money on a class or Meetup, then understand that you are putting that energy towards something that will benefit us.

Our spiritual journey should flow and propel us forward into the next adventure.
We should be asking, our self, valuable questions in regards to what we spend our time and money on.
Is there a class outline explaining what will be covered?
Does this teacher sound like a good fit for us?
Are they transparent?

One should be curious as to what will take place during the class.
Any great teacher will be more than willing to answer a question, in regards to their class.
Actually, the teacher should be ready for questions if they are teaching a subject they are passionate about.

If it is a Meetup that we want to attend, then the group organizer should be willing to answer any questions in regards to what will happen during the gathering.

I have found that being very transparent, with what is being covered, helped others decide if it is a group they are willing to attend and sit two hours through.

If our spirit just feels that a certain class will bring us more information, and we can afford it, then take the class and have an open mind.
Spirit is leading us to new information, new friends, or validation that this is where we are to be at this very moment.

If we have doubt and feel uncomfortable, then do not go.
Wait.
Look for another group that calls to us.

Never feel that we will not get what is needed to advance, if we can’t afford this certain healing class or tarot meetup.

Always remember that everything happens for a reason.
Maybe it is not the right time for us to advance.
We are always evolving but there are moments that we have to reflect on what was learned.
Sometimes we have to return  home to rest and relax, meaning we are not able to handle the information that will be supplied to us at the class.

Do not worry about what we may have missed out on, but look forward to what will come our way in the future.

Safe travel,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: New Hope
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Two of Coins:
I believe the card is telling us to maintain a level of balance.
Walking the thin line between good and bad can sometimes be difficult.
Even for an old pro, like me.
This mystic still struggles with wanting to be good and wanting to be bad.
When I first started to learn the Tarot, this card represented the word ‘balance’.
Making sure that your check book contains enough to pay bills, have fun, and buy food.
Now that I am grown, the card represents a balance with the physical and spiritual side of our life.
The coins are the physical part of life.
The money part.
The manifestation of things desired.

This card takes on the multiple exchange of life and death.
Remember that life and death go hand in hand.
The process of breakdown in order to be something greater.
The process of decay to lead to life. From compost to rose, we see this process all through nature.
The two of coins is just a detail of this process.
The balance of things in our life.
The balance of crap that we have to deal with from attitudes and emotions.

What is the lesson?

To accept.
To keep moving.
To keep walking with the items attached.
Eventually things will fall out.
I see this like a bucket of water.
Filled to the brim.
Walk with it and some will spill out.
I see the spilled amount as the unwanted and the left over as the much needed.
We smile even though some is lost.
We smile because we know that we can always get more from the endless supply of energy called Source.

Page of Wands, Three of Wands, Four of Swords:
We see information being given to us again.
A new journey.
Are we prepared?
Do we have all our items in our little suitcase?
Pack light.
Only take what is needed.
This journey will be about spiritual transformation.

We rest.
We wait.
We look out into the future and see the ships sails.
We know something good is coming.
It will sweep us off our feet and take us to a new destination.

Maybe a new home.
Maybe a new car.
Something to carry us to the next perfect resting spot.
Inspiration is calling to us and telling us to let go of the past.

It is time to move forward.
It is time to forgive.
The cards fill the air with magic.
They speak of something better.
Something more.
Something useful.
Something whole.

Know that we may look like we are not breathing, as if we are not moving, but deep inside we shine and burn with great intent.
We prepare for the next stage.
The next scene.

Be ready to jump on that ship of destiny.
Be ready to leave at a moments notice.
This is why we pack light, so that nothing is forgotten in the midst of our dash towards that new beginning.
Pushing forward to that new hope.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Transition
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Eight of Cups:
I always associate the Eight of Cups to the key word “searching”.
Most of the time it deals with the searching for something more.
For something better.
In this instance, I would like to advise us that it is not about looking outward, it is about looking inward. Deep inside our soul.
By doing this we will find exactly what we are looking for.

Do we know what we are looking for?

Well, I am sure we will come to that conclusion once we recognize it, in the vast space that is known as “us”.
You are probably stating to me, “But I am not looking for anything. I am content with what I have.”

And in turn I will respond with, “Are you content?”

We can be content with what we have and believe that we are happy, but it does not stop our soul from searching for that greater good.
Things can be even more awesome.
Sometimes we set out on a journey with no great intent.
We place one step in front of the other in hope that we land safely.
This is one of those times.
The need to search is greater than the state of content we are sitting in.

Ten of Coins, The Empress, Page of Swords:
Good news will be spoken into existence.
We will hear what we desire.
Family coming together.

The empress speaks to us about abundance and prosperity.
The birth of a goal into this reality.

What we have been looking forward to will now be seen.
The Ten of Coins is about family and generosity.
We see that things are happy in our house, that we share that goodness with those we love.
Sometimes we long for a gathering.
To drink and be merry.
To live and laugh.

We come together to enjoy our beauty and health.

Maybe it will be through a phone call.
Maybe it will be through word of mouth.

Things will come together in our favor.
With time passing by and days turning into years, we long for community.
Acceptance.
To be loved for who we are.
To shine with other beings of light.

This week is about coming together with love in our heart and hope in our hands.
Building community, healing, and creating sacred space.

We need others to feel complete because we are human.
This year is about recognizing our human side, so that we can transition into our light being side later, in the future.
We sometimes forget that we feel pain.
That we feel sadness even when the sun shines.
The sun will shine this week.
Prepare for a great adventure.
Accept what is being given.
Enjoy.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Joy and Laughter
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Eight of Coins:
The Three of Coins and The Eight of Coins are just examples of where we stand in a situation.
The Three of Coins is an example of our desire for the recognition from others, we place our little self in a position of “wanting to be loved”.
The desire to be noticed is greater than our own acknowledgment of our beautiful self.
We want to be seen and heard.

The Eight of Coins is the opposite.
We desire to notice others in our peripheral vision.
In the hindsight of who we were and where we have been.
We know just how great we are with the tools and articles that surround us.

It is time to master a new craft.
It is time to master a new set of skills that can be added to what we know now.
Blend it all together.
Jump into a new thought of desire.
We are worthy of this change.
We are worthy of this new power.

Sometimes we get stuck in the middle of what we know and what is unknown.
We get stuck in the unforeseen examples of life that sticks to us like honey.
The pain and hurt of certain people, the pain and hurt of a certain situation, the undetermined scream of our simple voice can get lost in the crowd. We can get lost within the crowd of people.

Sometimes we must look for the highest point, muster up a feeling of determination, and climb the fuck out of the shit hole we have created.
This is where the Eight of Coins will take us.
We rise above all the criticism and chastising that others may lay upon us.
We rise above it all to find new tools to manifest good into our life.

Judgement, Knight of Coins, Seven of Cups:
We wake up to a brand new day.
Things are looked at in a different light.
We contain new ideas and thoughts that take us to the next level of our adventure.

Are we happy?

That is a trick question.
Of course we are happy.
We shine with every heartbeat.
We are asked to be the manager.
Get organized.
Put things in their right place.
We gather people together to form a community.

We plant seeds of truth and hope.
We water them every day.
We are the sunlight they desire.
We watch them grow and when the time comes, we harvest.

Sometimes we get bogged down with our dreams.
There are too many.
We lose focus.
We give up.

Imagine if we focused our attention on just one small dream at a time.
So much would get accomplished.
The Seven of Cups is about picking just one dream.
The man sits before seven cups with good dreams and bad dreams.
As if he is trying to accomplish everything in one adventure.

The page turns and we find that we are human.
Fragile and filled with emotions.
But change can not happen without a little discomfort.
Notice I did not say pain.

Focus on all of the dreams or simply focus on one, the outcome will still be the same.
We will find that things will work out in our favor, regardless of the side steps and great falls.
If managed properly, the detours will contain the most joy and laughter.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Words made Whole
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Nine of Coins:
This card is about being comfortable.
If I had a student in front of me and we were viewing this card in a reading, I would probably state to them, “Enjoy the moments that cause you to exhale with relief”.

When we worry about money and things, we start to create this feeling of not having what we desire. The Nine of Coins talks to us about having more than enough to enjoy a moment of peace.
This card also means “peace” to me.
As if you desire a moment of silence to return to center.
To meditate.
To become whole again.
This card in readings can be positive or negative, depending on the surrounding cards.
If this card takes the lead in a reading, it is positive.
As if it is stating “Don’t worry. Enjoy, for you only have this one life to live at this moment.”

If this card is not in the lead and is in the background surrounded by The Devil or The Tower, then it takes on a negative attitude.
We view it as negative because it is stating to us, “Your over spending and eventually the debt will catch up to you.”
As if you were trying to save money and decide to go out with friends, and over spend on drinks and food.

You will have to pay for the moment of happiness.
It is not negative to me.
It simply means that we must deal with the consequences of our choices.
The Nine of Coins will eventually cycle into our life again and we may be faced with the same choice again.
Maybe it will be different.
Maybe we will make the same choice again, leaving us in the negative with our bank account. Either way, it is all about our perception.

King of Swords, The Chariot, High Priestess:
Things unseen that fall into place.
Behind the curtain, things break and are repaired.
We do not see this happening.
We only see the end result.

This week is about being fair with every person we come in contact with.
This week is about pushing forward, challenging our spirit to grow, and reaching for the truth.
Kindness comes to mind when looking at these cards.
Be gentle with the hearts of others.
Be empathetic.
Take care of the body.
Rest and relax for a moment before travelling forward.

Do not worry about what may be happening as we sleep.
As we dream of what may come into our life.
Do not worry about the obstacles placed before us.
Know that Spirit has our best interest at heart.
Spirit knows what path we must take.

The signs are clear.
The words made whole.
Like a painting, with every brush stroke the vision in our mind is put together.
The Chariot is not always about movement.
It can be about the vessel we travel in.
It can relate to our body.
To know that everything we need is found within.
All the strength and love, coming together, and advancing as one.
We shine.
We glow.
We contain faith.

Faith to advance to the next space on the chess board.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Reward
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

Six of Coins:
The week will bring in so much good and generosity.
Things will be given to us and in turn we will give to others.
The cycle moves forward.
We move forward.
We will receive exactly what is needed.
Source will provide.
Source always provides for us.

In some way we will be given the tools to create sacred space.
We will be given the tools to manifest what is needed in our life.
We will hear great news from a person we did not expect to be nice.
From someone who is being humble.

This is what generosity is.
It is about being humble.
We are giving freely without judgement, worry, or fear.
We are giving a piece of our spirit to this person.
We worked hard for the items we obtain.
Know that all things come full circle.

The person you have helped in the past will come back and give freely in the future.
It may not be to you exactly, but it may be to that stranger, who will feel humble, and give freely to you. Without judgement.
Without expectations.

Five of Wands, The Devil, Eight of Wands:
Here is that change and transformation.
Good old Devil card.
Looking at us and yelling, “Do it!”
It is telling us to get use to the change.
To be ready for everything to look brighter.
Get your sunglasses out, because the sun is going to shine.

Be cautious this week.
Know that struggles only happen because we allow them to take charge of our life.
Allow the process of love and understanding to unfold.
Compassion is the key word this week.
Change is happening.
We may not like it but it benefits us in the end.
We improve and become better as a spiritual person.
It is scary but even the bravest of heart have a split second of doubt before plunging head first into the great unknown.
We are only human.

This will happen fast.
The Eight of Wands brings in the energy of warp speed.
We rush by the stars and rocks in the Universe towards our destination of love.
We propel our spirit towards the goal of wholeness.

No doubt.
No worry.
No misunderstanding.

It will all work out.
And when it does we shall look behind us and say, “The struggle was well worth the reward.”

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron

The Energy of the Week: Golden Orange
Hello beautiful people,
Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.

The High Priestess:
If the Magician is the manifested elements within our life, then the High Priestess would be the unseen forces working to birth our desire.
It is the kind of shit that swirls and sparks in the dark of night.
It is the unknown desire that sits within the center of our spirit.
The kind of desire that we sometimes hide within the shadow of our life.
In true essence, it is no different than the feeling of “wanting to be loved”.
This card is about your intuition.
It is about the spirits talking to us through signs and symbols.

Sometimes we just know that something will transpire and take place.
Sometimes we end up at a certain place in our environment, by a wrong turn on the highway of life.
Sometimes we must trust that the path we are walking on, will lead us to exactly what is desired.

The High Priestess leads us down a balanced path, but we must recognize the good contained within it.
It is when we do not trust our inner self, that we end up in a state of despair and disappointment.
It is when we do not trust the spirits, that we end up lost and un-worthy.
Sometimes that is required.

Sometimes we must get lost within the bright lights, congested traffic, and stadium filled crowds, in order to stop and listen to our inner self.
In order to stop and listen to our spirit.

Wheel of Fortune, Page of Swords, Nine of Coins:
Page of Swords is about communication.
Something is being told to us through Spirit.
Something is being relayed through word of mouth.

The Wheel turns as the seasons change.
Winter to Spring.
Summer to Fall.
Colors change from green to brown.
Golden orange to winter white.
We see these colors in our life.

The Wheel of fortune changes luck to beauty, new to old, and inner vision to manifestation.
Remember things are happening in the background.
We can feel the change taking place but cant put our finger on how it will happen.
The wheel may turn at a slow rate and we only notice what is not happening in our life.
Good is taking place and forming before us, from the changing colors of the leaves, to the changing of moon cycles.
We return to a cycle of happiness.
The Nine of Coins is telling us to enjoy what we have, for more is to come.
How wonderful is that?
To know that more good is coming.
That even more will be given to us.

Spirit will be speaking to us in the coming weeks of more change.
Change that will give us hope.
That will give us the exact amount of love, to fill us up once more.

Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron
