Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.
Nine of Coins:
The key word for this card is “Pleasure”.
This card is about being comfortable. If I had a student in front of me and we were viewing this card in a reading, I would probably state to them, “Enjoy the moments that cause you to exhale with relief”
When we worry about money and things, we start to create this feeling of not having what we desire. The Nine of Coins talks to us about having more than enough to enjoy a moment of peace.
This card also means “peace” to me. As if you desire a moment of silence to return to center.
To meditate.
To become whole again.
This card in readings can be positive or negative, depending on the surrounding cards. If this card takes the lead in a reading, it is positive. As if it is stating “Don’t worry. Enjoy, for you only have this one life to live at this moment.”
If this card is not in the lead and is in the background surrounded by The Devil or The Tower, then it takes on a negative attitude. We view it as negative because it is stating to us, “Your over spending and eventually the debt will catch up to you.”
As if you were trying to save money and decide to go out with friends, and over spend on drinks and food.
You will have to pay for the moment of happiness.
It is not negative to me.
It simply means that we have to deal with the consequences of our choices. The Nine of Coins will eventually cycle into our life again and we may be faced with the same choice again. Maybe it will be different. Maybe we will make the same choice again, leaving us in the negative with our bank account.
Either way, it is all about our perception.
Six of Coins, Four of Cups, The High Priestess:
This week I want to treat this as if it was a reading for a friend or client.
With the three cards set before me, I would start out with:
“Sometimes generosity comes to us in a whisper. We are not paying attention to it because we are distracted with looking out for the glitter and glam of a solution. We are hoping it will shine a light on the problem and hold a sign with the words “Help is here”. Life does not happen like this. As much as we wish it would just solve all our problems with the answer, we have to do that work. Sometimes we have to have faith that shit will just work itself out if we let it go. That all of it will move in a positive direction. The High Priestess is the key card here and it is advising us to have faith in the unknown. If you do this, then all will be made whole again.”
Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron
