Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.
Knight of Wands:
Time to learn a life lesson.
Time to remember what was in the past, in order to move forward into the future.
This card tells us that there is knowledge to be gained.
We are to search out for that knowledge.
To return to school.
Maybe the small facts about grass and slugs, will come in handy as we interview for a job.
Knights are about action.
This is fire in action.
The Knight of Wands is considered lucky.
The Knight of Wands tells us to keep on moving forward with our goal.
It may require us to learn something in the process of becoming whole.
The fire element pushes us forward, creating heat and sparks, closing the gap between life and death.
It is time to learn what fire can do and what comes with the responsibility of knowing power.
When this card enters a reading, there is work to be done.
Absorbing as much knowledge from the books on our shelf.
Now that we have knowledge in our pocket, we move forward with inspiration to create good.
We wield our staff of power, pointing to things in the distance, and making our prosperity bloom.
We become like the sun.
Shining down on people, places, and things.
We now become the knowledge.
We now use the knowledge to gain strength.
But with power comes responsibility.
The responsibility to stop the fire from consuming everything in its path.
If we do not learn to harness the power of fire, then things catch fire.
Precious things are lost.
This card is about understanding the power of knowledge and the process of burning down bridges.
Seven of Swords, Queen of Swords, Eight of Cups:
Something is left behind.
We forgot to turn the stove off and as we travel back to our place of dwelling, traffic gets worse.
We are late.
We think about ways to cut corners.
We take short cuts but they only cause us to take longer.
We arrive home and push the door open, only to find that the stove was off the whole time.
What has this taught us?
That sometimes we are late to things in life due to a detour.
This is okay.
We learn to speak things into existence.
We learn to speak our truth, but in the process others may get hurt.
The truth can be blinding to some.
The truth can be misleading.
We yearn for something more as we travel the highway of life.
We look for a place to rest and relax, but all we find is sand and stone.
This week is about staying safe.
Playing the game from a distance.
Understanding the rules and possibly breaking them, but we are not phased by the outcome.
The truth shines a spotlight on us, blinding us at first, but revealing something not seen before.
Our true power shines through the darkness of the surrounding stage and we begin to speak.
The truth is never what we think it is.
Sometimes it is wrapped in glitter and bubbles.
Sometimes it is delivered to us in a bag of shit.
No matter what the truth is encased in, we still must sift through the outer layer to find hope, love, and destiny.
Until next time.
