Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.
Queen of Wands:
The Queen of Wands carries magic in her purse just like Marry Poppins.
Old mints to soothe the broken hearted.
Potions long forgotten and unused.
She holds onto these trinkets, knowing that they will be asked for at any given time.
She waits for the perfect moment to dig through her bottomless bag and present the person with an antidote to their problem.
When the Queen of Wands shows up in a reading, something must be brought out into the light.
It must be looked at and recognized for its value.
We, as a reader, must know if this card is a person, place, or thing.
With any court card, we must determine what is represents in a reading.
Sometimes it represents the person.
Sometimes it represents a relationship.
There are moments in a reading where the Court Card can represent a thing.
We receive information from Spirit and move forward.
The Queen of Wands is a fire sign, burning bright in the distance.
Some associate the card with the sign of Leo, always in the limelight of situations.
The Queen of Wands takes all sides of the story into consideration and puts light on the one they think is truth.
They give honest advice and wish to see others succeed with goals.
The shadow side of the Queen of Wands requires others to pay attention to them.
If we don’t recognize the value in their advice then they begin to form resentment.
The Queen of Wands can be selfish at times and think of their self in a situation.
This is not a bad trait but it can leave others feeling as if they were taken advantage of.
I would have to associate the character Miranda, from “The Devil Wears Prada”.
Everything revolves around her.
She pulls things together and thinks that if she was not in her position then things will fall apart.
She demands that others think on her level and leaves small details to the employees below her.
Miranda understands that people and things need to be sacrificed at times in order for great opportunity to arise.
The Queen of Wands understands that it is lonely at the top.
The Magician, The Hermit, The Empress:
This week is about taking our power, birthing something wonderful, and knowing that we did it all on our own.
Three Major Arcana cards sitting, looking, watching us.
Telling us to take our power and create what we desire.
To turn straw into gold.
To weave life into death.
The Magician requires us to take all elements, wield them into a tool of creation, and strike while the iron is hot.
To make something whole.
To force life into the inanimate object.
We desire change and the Empress pushes us towards it.
We call out for prosperity.
We have done the work and now it is time to flourish.
Sometimes we forget that we are worthy of only good.
We dive into a situation and hope that things turn out in our favor.
If we listen to Spirit then everything turns out in our favor and we move on to greater things.
Sometimes we have to do it alone.
Walk the path of light when others are walking the path of shadow.
Sometimes we must be the lighthouse for others, pulling them closer to safe harbor.
Telling them that they are home.
This week is about abundance in our place of dwelling, what we call home.
It is time to put the items given to us, by friends of the past, on our alter.
They cultivate energy.
Energy needed to create.
I sit here listening to the song “Let It Be” by the Beatles.
Spirit is telling us to let things happen and prosperity will arrive, knocking on our door, asking us for a place to rest.
Until next time.
