Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.
Eight of Cups:
I always associate the Eight of Cups to the key word “searching”.
Most of the time it deals with the searching for something more.
For something better.
In this instance, I would like to advise us that it is not about looking outward, it is about looking inward. Deep inside our soul.
By doing this we will find exactly what we are looking for.
Do we know what we are looking for?
Well, I am sure we will come to that conclusion once we recognize it, in the vast space that is known as “us”.
You are probably stating to me, “But I am not looking for anything. I am content with what I have.”
And in turn I will respond with, “Are you content?”
We can be content with what we have and believe that we are happy, but it does not stop our soul from searching for that greater good.
Things can be even more awesome.
Sometimes we set out on a journey with no great intent.
We place one step in front of the other in hope that we land safely.
This is one of those times.
The need to search is greater than the state of content we are sitting in.
Two of Cups, Nine of Swords, Queen of Swords:
We see this harsh reality of a relationship.
The Queen of Swords is a sharp tongued person who speaks the truth.
Sometimes their delivery is not so nice even though their intentions are good.
Who would I relate this court card to?
The Hag.
She has seen the world in all of its glory and also all of its horror.
She understands what is to take place in order for change to happen.
Her curses are the reaction to the circumstances we place our self in.
They are merely proverbs mixed with blood and dirt.
We take them in and think that the worst is upon us.
She has altered our state of perception, but she has not.
The truth has been showing up this month and sometimes the truth can hurt.
We worry about what is going to be said to us.
As if we will get lost within the words and knowledge.
Do not give up.
Push through the feelings of unworthiness when the truth is spoken.
Take in the truth and understand that sometimes things are stated to us for the better.
Also take to heart other people and their feelings.
Watch what we have to say to them and find compassion within our words of wisdom.
We may not know where their head is at.
Maybe it is in another memory, set up by their unconscious spirit, dealing with the aftermath of what was spoken in that moment.
Maybe they are feeling unworthy and our harsh words will prove that they are not enough.
This week is about compassion and understanding.
Do we have what it takes to show truth through action, or are we just going to go through the motions and speak what is on our mind?
This is the lesson we must learn.
Until next time.
Blessed Be,
Aaron
