Welcome to your weekly post about the energy of the week, what it will be like, and how to take better advantage of that energy.
Let us begin.
Five of Swords:
Who is winning and who is losing?
What is lost?
What did we really gain out of the battle?
The five of swords can take on many forms of the Ego.
We see people with swords beside them, and we see a man standing with swords in his hand, boasting. Making sure that the others know he has won, but has he?
The swords are simply laying there next to the other men, who wait for the perfect time to strike.
It is mistakes that cause us to have doubt.
To contain fear within our spirit.
Bottled up within the vessel we have chosen to inhabit.
If we boast too much, then things start to fall apart, for spirit does not give us things out of entitlement.
Some days we are the people without swords and some days we are people with a sword.
Holding it tight for fear of losing it again.
We may sit and think about what we would do if we did contain power.
We may sit and think about what life would be like without a certain type of power.
The Five of Swords speaks to us about power and where it sits within an environment.
Where it plays a part in the action of the card.
Power has to be balanced or it will disappear.
Power has to be fair.
We have to be fair.
The man stands with a look of Ego.
As if he is trying to pretend that everything is okay.
That the power is his forever.
The others know this is not truth and they wait in plane sight.
They know that eventually Spirit will take the power away from a certain person if they are abusing it.
Causing harm to others.
Using the power for selfish reasons.
Swords are power and action.
This card speaks about that action.
Do not worry because the power may be placed back into our hands.
That is when we must choose how to use it once more.
Death, Five of Coins, Ten of Wands:
Here we go again.
Death and all of its glory.
Transformation of spirit and mind.
Power moving forward, causing us to move as well, even if we did not have a say in the situation.
Sometimes we want to sit and wallow in our sorrow.
Sometimes we carry the memories of the past on our shoulders, bundled up and heavy.
We look to the East for change.
Things unseen, glimmer in the dark.
They shine a light towards our new destination.
Some may look away from it, knowing that if they are to travel to the light, an answer will be revealed.
We live in fear at times of the great unknown and what could take place.
Want to know a secret?
If we have faith in Spirit, then all things will be brought out into the light.
Things will form and take shape into this reality.
The outcome is always the same, truth is revealed and we move on.
The items we carry may be heavy, but we do this with an intent of good.
To make things right.
To make enough to survive.
To do what is true to our heart.
We can look away from the truth, but no matter how hard we try to ignore it, the truth always shines brighter than the lie.
This week is about understanding what that truth is, where it is taking us, and how we will recognize the full potential of our words.
Thank Spirit for the Sun shinning down upon our face, for it rises in the house of hope and sets in the house of love.
Until next time.
